“I definitely will do that.” Ty nodded, and grinned. He could picture it now. Life out in the open with Haleigh and her family, along with the farm animals. It seemed to picture out pretty nicely. Horseback riding into the wild, gazing at the skies during the lazy afternoons. It all seemed to perfect. Almost too perfect. “I suppose that I need to give this change in lifestyle a chance then. Maybe, if I ever do go back, it would be for a weekend or something… I think that I need to get out of my father’s hair for a couple years. Considering the fact that he’d bought the plane tickets and urged me to leave. Maybe I’ll even be able to start up my own horse ranch here… then I won’t have to miss home so much.” Ty opened up his airs to listen on to every single word she had to say. "I'm sure you'll adjust quite fine." Ty smiled. "Also, a ranch. That sounds like a pretty awesome idea. I might get those horse riding lessons a bit earlier than I originally expected." Ty continued.
The alcohol seemed to seep in to both their minds. The two seemed to take a bit longer to think about what to say first, before actually just blurbing something out. Back to asking for that number. It seems as if Ty had succeeded. “Sure, as long as I get yours. It‘s 614 - 762 - 0091.” Ty took out his cellphone, which was one of the trendy phones that was all the rave a couple months ago, but is now outdated. He entered in the number into his address book. "Hmm.. 614 - 762 - 0091. Alright. Got it." Ty said, as he put the number down as Hales with a couple of other funny symbols to mark it with some significance. "And mine is 614 - 510 -8108." Ty said as he smiled. Ty put his phone back into his pocket. “Yeah - that’s the plan.” Ty nodded. "A pretty good one I must say."
“I guess that the saying ‘you don’t realize how much you love someone until they’re gone’ is actually true. I suppose that I just always took my family for granted. I mean I appreciated their help - but I just never thought twice that I might be away from them for such a long time like right now.” Ty saw Haleigh look down. He felt bad for causing her to feel this way. "Sorry, didn't mean to get you at that soft spot." Ty said apologetically. Things sort of got a bit awkward, but the atmosphere of the bar sure helped keep things up and running smoothly.
“That’s exactly what a farm was - a legacy. The farm name was the family’s last name, and so the son took it over when he married someone. Living and working on a farm is a lot harder than people tend to think it is. You have to go to be at like ten at night because you’re getting up at three or four in the morning. And you have to keep an eye on the cows that are about to give birth, and if it happens in the middle of the night, you’re out there helping the cow. It is definitely a 24/7 job really. And it’s demanding work too - I’m not talking about just milking the cows. My dad had a crop too: hay, which you have to bale and then sell or store. That takes all summer long, on the hottest days.” Ty was intrigued by what she had to say. "Oh wow. That's a lot of work. Sounds as if there's barely any breaks in between. Then again, it might be fun to just think of it as something to help build bonds. All in all, that's quite a bit of work. Didn't know it required such a work force. You must have quite the work ethic." Ty was surprised at how much work managing a farm was. It was almost unbelievable.
“Yeah, that’s what I consider him most of the time.” Ty nodded. "That's cool. Wish my dad was like that. We never really 'bonded'." Ty said. Haleigh took another sip of beer. She must've been quite buzzed now, or at least we all know she's not sober anymore. “Well good - because let me just tell you that I’m a hard girl to try to shut up. At least you know what I’m talking about - so you can excuse my blabbing.” Ty chuckled. "Who would want to tell an awesome person like you to shut up? You can blab all you want. I'm all ears." Ty smiled. He caught sight of her wonderful smile, and also caught a glance at her wink. It made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Onto the dance floor. Haleigh's moves were just impeccable. Her hips continued to sway side to side, with it moving gradually faster. She just looked so god darn sexy strutting her stuff along the dance floor. She gradually moved in closer, with Ty doing the same. He was determine to not lose her, and getting close was just the way to do it. Then, Haleigh started to move in even closer. His heart started pumping a bit faster, his cheeks started to warm up a bit. Caught up in the moment, Ty laid his hands along her hips, having his arms sway along with it. He got even closer, with only a fingernail splitting them apart. Ty could feel her warmth radiating off her body. This was one dance to remember. Having now realized his hands were on Haleigh, he slowly started to regret moving in too fast.
OOC: Sorry. Had to crank out a post late. My eyelids are feeling heavy. xP My focus has been drained. Oh, and congrats on finishing drivers ed. Those six hours must've been a drag.

She was a big star at Banana Joe’s Bar, Where she sang karaoke every night. [/blockquote]_________________________________ I’m sure you’ll adjust quite fine. Also, a ranch. That sounds like a pretty awesome idea. I might get those horse riding lessons a bit earlier than I originally expected. Haleigh nodded, she was really considering going online and checking out the horses available for her to purchase. She wondered if there would be any for sale here or if she would have to have them flown in. “Yeah, it actually just came to me. And of course, once I find the perfect horse for you to ride - as a beginner, then I will definitely teach you.” She had taught kids and teenagers, even some adults, back home on one of her father’s more quieter horses. Her three horses were for her only, one was a three year old who was very rambunctious and only listened to her. Then her second horse was an ex-race horse, but he was very calm and was the horses that she had been currently working on and showing. The third horse, was a smaller one, her first one. He was borderline pony/horse, but she’ll always call him her pony. She misses them very much, maybe there could be a way for her to fly them over here, after she searched for a ranch. Or had one built.
Hmm… 614-762-0091. Alright. Got it. Haleigh smiled, after watching him punch in the numbers slowly into his phone. She had hoped that he got them right; and after hearing them recited back to her she felt reassured, smiling at him. And mine is 614-510-8108. Haleigh nodded, taking out her Telus Venus and sliding the top half upwards, getting to the contacts section and then punching in the numbers. ‘614-510-8108.’ She thought as she punched the numbers in. “Okay, added.” She smiled, sliding the phone down and then slipping it into her purse. She looked up at him, and listened to his words. A pretty good one I must say. Haleigh smiled and nodded, her mind moving away from the present back to the past, the good memories that she held close to her heart. She hoped that she’d never forget about them - sure, she’d loose a few here and there - but the major ones, the really important ones to her, she really hoped that she wouldn’t lose those ones in particular. She let her eyes move around the dance floor, but really she was thinking about her horses and wondered if her father had sold them or if he was holding onto them because they reminded him of Haleigh.
Sorry, didn’t mean to get you at that soft spot. Haleigh nodded, accepting his apology. It was much easier for her to accept an apology than a compliment. She lifted her face up to look at him, a small smile on her shiny lips. “It’s okay, at least you didn’t kill the atmosphere.” She chuckled softly, all that she could manage on a subject like she’d just spoke of. She looked away, thinking again of her old life. She wished that she could push it all into the back of her mind, not let it creep up into conversations like it just had - it made people feel uncomfortable. She looked back at Ty, wondering if he missed his old life or if he liked that he now had a second chance to make things right. “Do you miss your childhood?” Of course, Hales being the curious kind of gal that she was, she asked him. The alcohol coursing through her veins didn’t help one bit. She kept her eyes on his face, scanning for any discomfort or anger there. She didn’t see anything just yet, but she kept her eyes trained there - wanting to make sure that she didn’t hit a soft spot.
Oh wow. That’s a lot of work. Sounds as if there’s barely any breaks in between. Then again, it might be fun to just think of it as something to help build bonds. All in all, that’s quite a bit of work. Didn’t know it required such a work force. You must have quite the work ethic. Haleigh nodded, glad that she was able to express how difficult it was to run and manage a farm. It was totally different than movies portrayed it. “Yeah, this was my first and only vacation away from home. Too bad it’s a little more permanent to really be considered a vacation.” She looked away for a moment, thinking of what else she could say. “But you do get a lot of satisfaction at the end of the day when all of the chores have been completed right and the corn or milk is being shipped off.” She can still remember sitting in the living room window and watching the taillights of the large trucks that took away their corn that they sorted into the silos, or the large truck that took the milk away to be treated and then sold in the market. Her father would be outside in the evening with the drivers of the trucks and sometimes Hales would wander outside to chat with them. They always thought she was the cutest girl they’d ever laid their eyes on.
That’s cool. Wish my dad was like that. We never really ‘bonded’. Haleigh nodded, she knew many of her guy friends growing up didn’t quite get along with their fathers. Of course it was also due to the fact that they were teenagers and teenager boys always struggled power wise against their fathers. It was just a teenager thing. “That’s a shame really, I’ve seen that so often growing up.” It was even more upsetting for her because of how close she is to her father. Now, if someone wasn’t close to their mother, well Hales could agree with them. She wasn’t close to her dead mother, she didn’t have closure from her death, and she’d always been her daddy’s little girl. She looked over at Ty, listening to him. “Who would want to tell an awesome person like you to shut up? You can blab all you want. I’m all ears. Haleigh’s cheeks reddened again, she wasn’t used to getting compliments and she wouldn’t get used to them for a while, but she did appreciate them. “Well, thank you. That means a lot.” She smiled, her eyes shining with happiness.
As they picked up speed, her cheeks started to flush more, as they got closer and closer. She felt her heart rate increase, not only because of the dancing that she was doing but because their bodies were getting closer and closer. She felt his hands gently placed on her hips and her lips curved upwards at the corners as she smiled. She moved her hands to rest together at the back of his neck, her arms stretching straight because he was much taller than she was. She smiled up at him, not loosing a beat nor any motion in her hips as she kept her hands there at the base of his neck.
oh oh see: lol your replies are fine, no worry. Sorry for the little delay, I had to get this out quickly but I should be online later tonight. I need to get my hair cut now, so I need to go but at least I got this out before!

“Yeah, it actually just came to me. And of course, once I find the perfect horse for you to ride - as a beginner, then I will definitely teach you.” Ty nodded and smiled. "Hopefully that horse can deal with a horrible rider like me." Ty chuckled lightly. Haleigh seemed to be sound like a prolific rider, and also a great teacher to boot. He wouldn't have been surprised if she was all that. After all, Ty was looking forward to those lessons, and he actually couldn't wait to get on a horse and learn the basics step by step, while having the chance to also spend more time with Haleigh, something that he also relished. She must've also owned a lot of horses back in the days, and probably still does. "Maybe we can go find that perfect horse together one of these days. After all, I've never actually went 'horse shopping'." Ty added, still smiling brightly.
Ty was still overwhelmed with joy, after having Haleigh giving her number to him. They now had a means of communication, and a way to possibly see each other more often than running in to each other in the most random of places. The both had shared numbers, which now meant that the two had no reason to not have the opportunity to talk to one another more often. “Okay, added.” Ty smiled. "Alright, guess we can annoy each other all we want now. We have no reason to feel bored and useless anymore." Ty joked.
“It’s okay, at least you didn’t kill the atmosphere.” Ty felt reassured that she was alright. Her smile was enough to break any tension that would follow along from any awkward situations. Her lips were quite shiny also, and with every extra glance Ty had done, Haleigh seemed to grow more attractive with each look. Maybe it was due to the alcohol running through his blood, or maybe this was exactly the case. “Do you miss your childhood?” Ty wondered about this subject. He had on a puzzled look, just thinking back on his younger years. "Well, I guess you can say at times. There were it's up and downs, but overall, I guess you can say it was borderline on being okay." Ty smiled. His childhood wasn't something he would be afraid of talking about, or something that would be tough to talk about, especially with all the alcoholic influence that had already overtaken him. He noticed that Haleigh had zeroed in on him, so he made sure not to make any faces that would show any signs of feeling uncomfortable.
“Yeah, this was my first and only vacation away from home. Too bad it’s a little more permanent to really be considered a vacation. But you do get a lot of satisfaction at the end of the day when all of the chores have been completed right and the corn or milk is being shipped off.” Ty nodded, listening to what Haleigh had to say. "A little vacation never hurt anybody. Just think of it has a long deserved break, after having to work your entire life." Ty paused, and smiled. "Just doing your fair share of work and completing it does give you a sense of accomplishment and self satisfaction doesn't it?" Ty said as he thought about some of the things he accomplished over the past, and how happy he was after completing them. Farm work sounded tough, and Haleigh must've been quite the hard worker. If she did go with her plan to maybe build a ranch here, he wouldn't mind helping her hand in hand taking care of the place. In fact, it would be a blessing for him to be able to help her out.
“That’s a shame really, I’ve seen that so often growing up.” Ty nodded. It wasn't rare at all he assumed, that boys wouldn't really connect all to well with their fathers or their parents in general. Especially if they lived in Arden Falls, a ever seemingly place that seemed to deteriorate with every passing year. "Yeah, wish I had the chance to really get close with my father, or possibly my parents in general." Ty said, still with a jolly look on his face, having reassured Haleigh that nothing was wrong at all. Shortly afterwards, with a couple more words exchanged between the two, Haleigh blushed. Ty thought she looked great when she blushed, with her cheeks all rosy and warm. It just meant that everything was going well, and that she enjoyed his company to say the least. “Well, thank you. That means a lot.” Ty gave another glance at Haleigh, this time looking into her eyes. It was gleaming with joy. He had gotten lost in them for a short moment. He just nodded, after coming back from his trance.
The dance floor, it was just the place to be. People were everywhere, and the temperature seemed to rise. Ty's heartbeat rose up to another level, his body all heating up from being around other people, but mainly being close to Haleigh as the music seemed to flow by ever so gracefully. Her cheeks seemed to turn more rosy, but Ty's face felt warm also. Perhaps due to the fact that the two were moving closer than ever. As Ty placed his hands on her hips, she placed her hands on the back of his neck shortly afterwards. The two were moving well with the beat, and Ty's hands were still moving along with Haleigh's sexy hips. She smiled up at him, and he smiled back. Ty moved his head in closer to whisper something to Haleigh's ears. "You're an amazing dancer." Ty said softly, having waiting on his words to flow through her ears. "I just wanted to let you know. I've been waiting to tell you this. You look beautiful tonight." Ty continued, as the two were still moving along to the beat. The two were closer than ever, even feeling each other's heat radiating off both their bodies, contributing to the rising temperature.
OOC: Okay. ^^ Don't worry about the delay. I have my own fair share of them.

She was a big star at Banana Joe’s Bar, Where she sang karaoke every night. [/blockquote]_________________________________ Hopefully that horse can deal with a horrible rider like me. Haleigh smiled, “We all have to start somewhere, right?” She really, really wanted to get a farm now. Or have something built so that she could get some horses here. Maybe we can go find that perfect horse together one of these days. After all, I’ve never actually went ‘horse shopping’. Haleigh chuckled, “Well, since I know what I’m looking for, we won’t be wasting our time. But way back when my father was searching for the ‘perfect’ horse for me, it took a very long time. At least he knew what he was doing, but inexperienced horse buyers can get themselves into quite the trouble, there are certain things that you need to look at. Like what kind of conditions the horses are living in, and how the horse looks - is it too skinny, too scarred up or does it act like a knuckle head?” Haleigh knew that she was blabbing again, but the words just couldn’t be held back. He didn’t seem to mind hearing her blab so she figured there was really no harm done and she was just worrying for no reason.
Alright, guess we can annoy each other all we want now. We have no reason to feel bored and useless anymore. Haleigh nodded, smiling. “Exactly. And I think that I might be giving you a call next week to go looking for some horses. I am going to search on the internet for the next couple days, because I don’t want to waste your time or mine.” She paused, thinking. “Maybe we could make it an all day kind of thing… depends how your schedule is though. You tell me which day is good for you.” Hales smiled again, looking up into his face. She found it slightly odd that when she looked up at him that she felt something deep down. She knew for a fact that she wasn’t in love with him, but maybe she did really like him? She shook herself mentally, she was being stupid. She just wanted to have a friendship… and so did he. She looked at him once more, her brain slowing down the thoughts that had been streaming in and out. She looked into his eyes, wondering what he thought and felt when he looked at her. She was always just a tad bit too curious, something that could be considered a flaw.
Well, I guess you can say at times. There were it’s up and downs, but overall, I guess you can say it was borderline on being okay. Haleigh nodded, keeping her eyes trained on his face, but he didn’t seem to show any uncomfortable emotions. She figured that it was mostly because of the alcohol coursing through his veins. She thought about what she could and should say, taking her time which was unusual. Even Ty should know that by now. “I think that every relationship, at one point or another, has it’s ups and downs.” Was all she could manage to get out. She leaned back for a moment, her eyes tearing up as a yawn threatened to come over her. She covered her mouth, as her eyes closed. She shook her head, smiling with her eyes open when it ended. “Sorry about that - I guess that you’re just a boring person.” She winked, of course she was only joking around with him - it was in her nature.
A little vacation never hurt anybody. Just think of it as a long deserved break, after having to work your entire life. Just doing your fair share of work and completing it does give you a sense of accomplishment and self satisfaction doesn’t it? Haleigh nodded, completely agreeing with him. He was right, of course. “Yeah, it makes me want to try harder the next time I am faced with a challenge.” Haleigh was stubborn at times, but most of the time she enjoyed a good challenge with the amount of determination she had. “Well, maybe I will need to start my own ranch here - so that I can feel that satisfaction again. Not too mention, I would be able to see you more.” She smiled, her cheeks turning pink again. She knew that it was partly the alcohol talking but she also knew how her heart was feeling and she knew that she would love to see Ty around again. Just the fact that he didn’t mind talking, and how he seemed excited about her getting horses. She smiled, picturing him helping her out around the barns. She liked what she saw, that’s for sure.
Yeah, wish I had the chance to really get close to my father, or possibly my parents in general. Haleigh nodded. “Yeah… I wish that I had gotten a chance to be closer to my mom… spend more time with her, you know?” She looked down. “I guess it just upsets me to hear about how kids take their parents for granted. One day, they just might not be there anymore.” She kept her eyes down for a moment longer, not wanting to offend him or anything. “But then again - parents are supposed to be alive when their kids are getting their diplomas from high schools and universities and getting married…” She let her voice trail away. When Haleigh drank, her emotions went to the extreme. She was either really happy, or really upset, or really angry. Sadness was starting to fill up her little heart, but since they had moved to the dance floor she was able to smile and let her mother’s memories leave the present time.
Haleigh’s body flowed to the music as if she was a professional dancer, although she had taken some dance classes when she was figuring out what to do when she was a kid. Her dad had signed her up, hip-hop class. She hadn’t really enjoyed it, the girls where rude and talked behind her back. Everybody knew that she was the girl without a mom. It made the other’s think that she was weird… odd. Haleigh pushed those horrible memories away, feeling Ty’s warm breath on her ear she listened to his words. You’re an amazing dancer. I just wanted to let you know. I’ve been waiting to tell you this. You look beautiful tonight. She felt her cheeks warm even more, as well as her insides. “Thank you.” She spoke softly, but they were so close he would either be able to read her lips or hear her. She leaned even closer to him as the song slowed, putting her head on his large chest. Sighing, she closed her eyes.
oh oh see: XD

“We all have to start somewhere, right?” Ty nodded and smiled. "I guess we do." He was looking forward to getting on a horse and just possibly controlling it. “Well, since I know what I’m looking for, we won’t be wasting our time. But way back when my father was searching for the ‘perfect’ horse for me, it took a very long time. At least he knew what he was doing, but inexperienced horse buyers can get themselves into quite the trouble, there are certain things that you need to look at. Like what kind of conditions the horses are living in, and how the horse looks - is it too skinny, too scarred up or does it act like a knuckle head?” Ty nodded. After all, she knew what she was talking about, and he knew nothing about horses or what they needed, what traits to look for and all that. There was just a lot of things that one had to look for, more so than Ty would ever imagine. "Wow, there are so much things to look for in a horse. Looks like I'm going to have to do some research." Ty smiled. Everything Haleigh seemed to say was always something worth listening to. After all, he could never get tired of doing so.
“Exactly. And I think that I might be giving you a call next week to go looking for some horses. I am going to search on the internet for the next couple days, because I don’t want to waste your time or mine. Maybe we could make it an all day kind of thing… depends how your schedule is though. You tell me which day is good for you.” Ty nodded, and smiled at the thought of making plans with her another day. "Hey, you're the expert here, so you go do your thing. I'll just tag along whenever needed. I can make time for you at any day. Just give me a heads up a little while before then so I can work things out with my schedule." Ty said, as he took out his phone to look at his schedule for the next upcoming days. "Yeah, I'm pretty flexible for this upcoming week." Ty smiled. What was better than just spending time with someone you enjoy being with? Although the two weren't exactly on a level of love, they were at the very least good friends, and two people that could get along with each other quite easily. Ty was just satisfied that he was able to meet a girl like Haleigh, and also a person he could connect with. Who knows, whether their mutual relationship will evolve into love, or a brotherly sisterly bond. Whatever the case may be, they're living in the moment now, and Ty will let time decide what will happen in the future.
“I think that every relationship, at one point or another, has it’s ups and downs.” Ty noticed that Haleigh had been studying his eyes, seeing if he had showed any sign of discomfort, and by the way she looked, it looks like he succeeded in looking jolly as usual. "Yeah. It's a give and take kind of thing. Something I've realized over the years." Ty nodded. Shortly after, she yawned. Haleigh might've been a little tired, after all, it was starting to get a little late, but not too entirely. “Sorry about that - I guess that you’re just a boring person.” Ty chuckled lightly. "I apologize. I know, I need work on keeping things alive." Ty joked, as he continued chuckling a little bit. As she winked, Ty sort of caught the disease of her infectious yawn. He yawned shortly afterwards, having now know the yawn was quite contagious. "Sorry. I even bore myself sometimes." Ty joked as he smiled.
“Yeah, it makes me want to try harder the next time I am faced with a challenge. Well, maybe I will need to start my own ranch here - so that I can feel that satisfaction again. Not too mention, I would be able to see you more.” Ty nodded. He agreed with what she had to say. Ty was a hard headed guy also at times, the latest being him trapping his buddies in the studio for hours and hours at a time before going for a break. He was the same as Haleigh in a way. When given a challenge, he couldn't step back from it. He would do whatever it takes to complete it. "I know what you mean. It always feels good to complete something that was a bit of a challenge." Ty paused. "You definitely should start a ranch. I wouldn't mind having to help you out managing the place, and also I wouldn't mind having the opportunity to see you more often." Ty smiled, and blushed a little bit as Haleigh stated that she wouldn't mind seeing him more often.
“Yeah… I wish that I had gotten a chance to be closer to my mom… spend more time with her, you know? I guess it just upsets me to hear about how kids take their parents for granted. One day, they just might not be there anymore. But then again - parents are supposed to be alive when their kids are getting their diplomas from high schools and universities and getting married…” Ty nodded, and thought about what she had to say. He probably was taking his parents for granted. Some didn't have the opportunity to have see them both every now and then. It was like Haleigh, not having the chance to see her mother no more, while she wants to see her. Ty on the other hand has a mother to see, but he doesn't take the chance too. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Come to think of it, I'm one to take my parents for granted. I'll pay them a visit to them a little later this week. They'll be glad to hear I met a nice girl." Ty paused. He noticed how her voice started to trail away, talking about parents, mainly referring to her late mother. He put his hand on her shoulder gently. "It's okay. I'm sure your parents had a chance to see you succeed, and will always have the opportunity to. Whether if they're walking here on Earth, or looking down at you from the skies. They'll always be with you, no matter how far you think they may be. And, starting now, you also have me watching you succeed and supporting you in anything you're willing to do." Ty said, as he looked into her eyes, which seemed to filled with a sense of grief.
Haleigh seemed to be like a dancing queen. Her moves and her skills were amazing. Ty loved the fact that she moved around like a professional, and the fact that she looked so attractive moving like that. She continued to move, and looked as if she was having a good time, just slowly forgetting the sadness that filled her heart short before. Ty was glad that she felt better now, and the song had just started to gradually slow down. She started to move on slower, matching the beat perfectly, looking good doing so. She then rested her head upon his chest, and it was a wonderful feeling. Her warmth radiated throughout her chest, and the aroma of her scent was quite addicting. Ty's heart beat slowed down a bit, but it thumped quite loudly, perhaps even hard enough for Haleigh to feel and hear. Ty moved his hands off her hips and onto her lower back, just savoring the moment. The two swayed towards the slower moving music, as Ty just had a smile of gratification and comfort.
OOC: I know my posts will start to gradually shorten. xD It's just a matter of time.

She was a big star at Banana Joe’s Bar, Where she sang karaoke every night. [/blockquote]_________________________________ I guess we do. Wow, there are so much things to look for in a horse. Looks like I’m going to have to do some research. Haleigh smiled, chuckling at his little joke. “It’s actually a lot easier than you’d think. Especially since I’ve gone horse shopping before and I’ve been riding for about ten years.” She looked at him for a moment longer, thinking. “I am actually really excited to do this now… I think that it’ll be worth the money that will be invested into it.” She smiled again, her eyes lighting up at the prospect of having some more horses here to work with, to keep her busy. She looked at him for a second longer, and then she looked away, not wanting to make him feel uncomfortable. She looked down at her lap, at her hands folded into one another, a bad habit of her that she always did ever since she’d been a little kid.
Hey, you’re the expert here, so you go do your thing. I’ll just tag along whenever needed. I can make time for you at any day. Just give me a heads up a little while before then so I can work things out with my schedule. Haleigh nodded, he seemed pretty flexible and like he wanted to help her out. “Okay, sounds like a plan to me.” She said, and watched as Ty brought out his phone. Yeah, I’m pretty flexible for this upcoming week. Haleigh nodded, “That’s really good. I may just want to go at the beginning of the week, and then later on I will talk to some building contractors to get some prices. I may just have to buy a ranch… although I do live on a small farm right now… that is almost as big as my father’s ranch.” She looked down at the moment, she had bought the five acre piece of land that she was living on right now in hopes that one day she’d be able to start up a horse farm. It seems as thought that might just be happening - a dream come true, really.
Yeah. It’s a give and take kind of thing. Something I’ve realized over the years. Haleigh nodded, there was no need to comment on that because she agreed with him one hundred percent. I apologize. I know, I need work on keeping things alive. Sorry. I even bore myself sometimes. Hales watched as he yawned shortly after she had and she giggled, tipsy of course. “Well, we can work on that little problem of yours.” She smiled, “But as for boring yourself, well there’s not much I can do to help you with that. Except just keep on blabbing like I always do.” She laughed, making fun of herself was something that she didn’t care about. She could have a good laugh at something stupid that she did and not even care about it. She knew that that was a good trait that guys liked to see girls have, yet she was still single. She frowned, wondering what was wrong with her. ‘Oh well, at least I’ve met a really great guy.’ She thought, attempting to cheer herself up.
I know what you mean. It always feels good to complete something that was a bit of a challenge. You definitely should start a ranch. I wouldn’t mind helping you out managing the place, and also I wouldn’t mind having the opportunity to see you more often. Haleigh was careful to keep her eyes on his face, and watched as he blushed this time. She smiled, feeling giddy thanks to the alcohol. She wondered if they would have gotten this close, so soon, if they hadn’t had alcohol flowing through their veins. She had a feeling that they would have, just because he was so kind and she was a very caring person. “Sounds good to me. Yeah, I don’t think that I could manage a whole ranch on my own.” She didn’t mention anything about seeing him more, because she already had. She smiled at him - it would be nice to wake up and see him in the morning, as he helped her feed the horses… and then they’d do some more chores, like cleaning the stalls and then go out riding. Her smile widened at that, wandering through the pastures of lush green grass, in the sunset. She wished that she could have that right now. If only.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Come to think of it, I’m one to take my parents for granted. I’ll pay them a visit a little later this week. They’ll be glad to hear I met a nice girl. Haleigh nodded, trying to keep the colour out of her cheeks. “I just want you to know that I wasn’t trying to force you to see them, I just wish that I could spend time with my mom still.” She looked wistful, and with a dazed look about her face. She was starting to think about the memories of her mother in the kitchen, cooking away with Hales. They had been making cookies, the day before her mother had passed away. Haleigh still remembers her mother finding cookie batter in Haleigh’s hair after they had put the cookies into the oven. How they had gotten there, neither one knew. But they had had a great time, making the cookies and then eating them after when they were too hot and almost burning their tongues and fingers. When Haleigh’s father had come in, he had just laughed, shaking his head as the two girls ran in circles screaming ‘ouch my fingers!’ ‘ouch my tongue!’ ‘ouch!’
Haleigh felt his hand on her shoulder before she heard his words. She felt the heat from his hand, almost searing her shoulder. She looked up into his face, trying to keep her mind off of the heat that she was feeling from him. A fire that was spreading across her body. It’s okay. I’m sure your parents had a chance to see you succeed, and will always have the opportunity to. Whether if they’re walking here on Earth, or looking down at you from the skies. They’ll always be with you, no matter how far you think they may be. And, starting now, you also have me watching you succeed and supporting you in anything you’re willing to do. His words lifted up her spirits, and made her blush. “That’s really good to know… seriously.” She spoke from her heart, whether there were many words or not, she was being honest. She liked how he seemed to want to protect her. That’s what she needed the most right now.
Haleigh’s body slowed with the rhythm of the music that was now a slow song. Her hips continued to sway from side to side, although it wasn’t as quick as before, naturally. She felt his hands move onto her lower back, a fire burning from where they’d just touched to where they were touching her now. She felt that fire spread all over her body, from where her head was touching his chest. She smiled, wondering how long he was going to stay with her tonight. She wished, deep down that it would be all night long, but she knew that it would make their relationship feel a bit more awkward. Sure, she didn’t want to have sex with him… but she did like being around him. There was just something about him that made her feel comfortable, protected. Not only that but he made her laugh and feel like she was special. It had been a long time since she’d had someone in her life that did that to her, and she didn’t know if she could live without it again. She looked up into his eyes, their faces almost touching, they were that close. She could feel the heat radiating off of his face, onto hers. She smiled, biting her lip.
oh oh see: yeah, I know what you mean, they've talked about a lot of stuff lol. just so you know, I've posted a graphics thread, if you want me to make you some, I can. XD

“It’s actually a lot easier than you’d think. Especially since I’ve gone horse shopping before and I’ve been riding for about ten years. I am actually really excited to do this now… I think that it’ll be worth the money that will be invested into it.” Ty nodded and smiled. "I'm also looking forward to doing this. It sounds like it's going to require some work, but it also sounds like a lot of fun." Ty continued to smile. He looked at Haleigh's eyes for a moment, realizing that she had been looking at him also, but then looking away, and folding her hands on her lap. He guessed that she didn't want him to feel all uncomfortable and awkward, but Ty didn't mind it at all if they would stare at each other for lengths at a time. Then again, it did sound pretty awkward.
“Okay, sounds like a plan to me.” Ty smiled, as he listened up to what else she had to say. “That’s really good. I may just want to go at the beginning of the week, and then later on I will talk to some building contractors to get some prices. I may just have to buy a ranch… although I do live on a small farm right now… that is almost as big as my father’s ranch.” Ty nodded yet again. "Sounds good. I hope everything will go smoothly and according to plan." Ty really wanted for Haleigh to have everything go her way. One, it would help her feel more at home, and the other, she would be more comfortable and happy. It would actually be a dream come true for her to say the least.
“Well, we can work on that little problem of yours. But as for boring yourself, well there’s not much I can do to help you with that. Except just keep on blabbing like I always do.” Ty chuckled lightly and smiled brightly. "Looks like I have a lot more of learning to do from you then." Ty joked as he noticed her also giggling before. The alcohol really seemed to be kicking in for the two. They were more bold, more open it seemed. Haleigh knew how to joke and laugh, something that Ty really appreciated. After all, it's better to be around someone that has a sense of humor then someone that doesn't. Haleigh had some jokes, and although many of it was targeted at Ty himself, he didn't mind having to laugh at himself. He then noticed her frown for a second. "What's wrong?"
“Sounds good to me. Yeah, I don’t think that I could manage a whole ranch on my own.” Ty was happy that she basically invited him to help her out whenever she had the plans for her ranch done. He felt as if he was on cloud nine, not really returning back to grace anytime soon. While he was up there, he enjoyed what he could, having the alcohol assisting him a little bit along the way. Was his attraction to Haleigh due to the alcohol? He guessed not. Before they even had a couple drinks, he already felt a strong connection with her. "Looks like I'm going to have another part time job then." Ty smiled. He then just pictured them two working alongside one another at the ranch. They would go feed the animals together, clean the whole place up together, and then have a quick lunch under the brightly lit sky. It sounded like a dream to Ty, at least for the moment, knowing deep inside that it was bound to come true one day.
“I just want you to know that I wasn’t trying to force you to see them, I just wish that I could spend time with my mom still.” Ty saw a bit of a rosy flush along her cheeks again. He then noticed her expression go away for a second. With her probably thinking back to the days of being with her late mother. He might've unwittingly hit another weak spot again, something that he didn't want to keep doing at all. "Oh, it's just something you reminded me of." Ty paused. "Remember, your mother is always spending time with you, whether you know it or not." Ty felt bad to see Haleigh in this state. There really wasn't much he could do but to just comfort her and make her feel better. Hopefully this he could do.
“That’s really good to know… seriously.” After a long preaching by Ty, he just looked over to Haleigh with a smile. She seemed to feel a bit better after what Ty had to say. Hopefully she did. She even blushed again. Blushing was a better sign than frowning, that sure was a fact. "Just always remember that." Ty said in a calming, soothing tone.
Everything all felt fuzzy and warm all over for Ty, while spending time on the dance floor. The two got real close to one another, to the point where they both were basically embracing one another. Part of him felt like he was going a bit too fast, and another part of him didn't want to let go. The warmth he felt radiating off both their bodies was almost unreal. It was a terrific feeling of joy, wanting it to last forever. He smiled, even though knowing this moment wouldn't last forever. Things would start to get awkward, if they started getting a little to physical. He didn't want a good thing to end, and he was almost sure that Haleigh had felt the same way. They might've been moving along too fast, being caught up in the moment. He wasn't thinking along the lines to the point where they might even get too caught up in the moment tonight and end up having sex. That would make things all awkward, and something that would be hard to erase. For now, he would enjoy just being close to her, almost embracing her in his arms. Feeling the comfort of her warmth, and feeling the joy that ran through his body. He smiled, as the two swayed through the slower music, with him now pulling her a little closer, and a little tighter.
OOC: I'll be sure to check that out, seeing how I'm so awful with graphics. xD

She was a big star at Banana Joe’s Bar, Where she sang karaoke every night. [/blockquote]_________________________________ Haleigh caught Ty’s smile before words came out of his mouth, and it made her smile. It was that contagious for her. I’m also looking forward to doing this. It sounds like it’s going to require some work, but it also sounds like a lot of fun. She nodded, lifting her eyes back up to look into his face, finding it surprising that he was still looking at her. “Yeah, but the hard work will give us even more satisfaction when the job’s finally done.” She said, speaking from experience. Her father had been renovating the ranch before she had taken off, or at least he was in the midst of renovating. Chores still had to be done, and people still had to be fed, but somehow he managed to fix up the fence posts that were leaning too much. He also fixed up one of his many tractors, and had started to repaint the fences and barn, just before she was leaving. Maybe that made her feel the worst; because he was working a lot more without her there, and he was renovating which was something that rarely happened around there. She just figured that she should be there, helping out. But then again, she wouldn’t have met Ty if she was still in Austin.
Sounds good. I hope everything will go smoothly and according to plan. Haleigh nodded, smiling. “Well, just so you know, you’ll be the first to hear about it!” She chuckled, half joking, half being serious. She would definitely have to tell him about it, they were planning to do this just about together, where they not? Other than her father there would be no one else here that she could talk to about this… she hadn’t really made many friends lately. Maybe it was because she spent most of her time indoors, when she wasn’t outside jogging around town or grabbing a cup of coffee. That was one thing that she needed everyday, one cup in the morning and maybe one at night when she was curled up on the big couch reading a book. As Haleigh’s mind trailed away from her usual habits, she wondered what Ty usually did. Besides spend hours upon end in the studio. See, Hales found more ideas and thoughts in between the pages of the books that she read, then forcing herself in a studio all day long. This girl cannot be cooped up like that. Ever.
Looks like I have a lot more of learning to do from you then. Haleigh smiled, chuckling lightly. “Of course you do - everybody continues to learn about things. Hell, I still haven’t learned everything there is to know about horses and caring for them. But when I die, I’d sure as hell like to have accomplished that or at least damn well close.” She smiled, she was joking around again but then again she was being serious. That would be the greatest thing to have learned over the years; everything there is to know about horses. Hales could only imagine the huge percentage of knowledge about the beautiful creatures that she didn’t know yet. Yet, being the key word there. She still searched up new methods for training them and still looked at the magazines that she had delivered to her new address that allowed her to stay ‘with it’. What’s wrong? Haleigh smiled, shaking her head. “Nothing.”
Looks like I’m going to have another part time job then. Haleigh chuckled. “But at least your boss will be nice to you.” She didn’t know if he’d had horrible bosses before when he worked his other part time jobs. She was speaking from experience though, she’d had some real assholes as bosses before. She remembers working for this one middle aged guy one hot summer. He’d ordered her around and spoken to her like she was trash. Then one day when her dad came to pick her up, at the end of her shift, her boss and dad had run into one another. The boss complained about Haleigh’s work ethic, and Haleigh’s father - naturally - came to her defence, except her was the type that would fight anybody who thought negatively about his daughter. And so he did. Well, let’s just say that Haleigh never talks to the boss again, neither does her father. And she went back to work there.
Oh it’s just something you reminded me of. Remember, your mother is always spending time with you, whether you know it or not. Haleigh nodded, wanting desperately to believe him. “So you do believe in a heaven then?” She asked, wondering out of curiousity. She probably shouldn’t have asked, just how people get so worked up about their religion and just about everything else nowadays. She figured that he would be okay talking to her about that just because he seemed like a kind guy and she didn’t think that he’d take offence to that. She sure as hell hoped that he wouldn’t. Haleigh looked down for a moment, trying to get her racing mind to calm down so that she could focus on what was going on around them. She swallowed, and after taking a moment to regain composure, she looked back up a smile on her lips. She could hide a lot of emotions especially when she talked to complete strangers. But there was just something about Ty that made her express more than she intended to.
Just always remember that. Haleigh nodded, not responding to his words because she would find it hard to forget them. Except maybe when she was out on the dance floor with him, swaying to the slow song. She sighed, happy and content. Feeling his large arms wrap tighter around her made her smile get wider. She looked up at his face for a brief moment, but she soon lowered her face away from him because their lips were almost touching. She sighed, wishing that there could be some way that they would have to spend the night with one another. All she wanted to do was just cuddle with him. She couldn’t believe how wonderful it felt to be held in a guys arms, like it did right now. Of course Haleigh has had a few boyfriends in the past, but she’s never done anything past kissing, wanting to save herself for the perfect man to walk into her life. Maybe she had just met him… she sure hoped so. A girl could get really tired and frustrated having to keep on searching for potential.
oh oh see: lol - well I was only suggesting it, since you didn’t have anything up, I would be happy to try to get something done up for you… that is, if you would like me to. : )

“Yeah, but the hard work will give us even more satisfaction when the job’s finally done.” Ty nodded, and smiled. That was indeed the truth. Without any hard work before it all, there wouldn't be any sense of accomplishment or satisfaction after completing the task. "That's true. Without any work, there wouldn't be any sense of accomplishment." Ty said. He would know. Spending hours at a time cooped up in the studio trying to find and make the perfect beat, the perfect sound, trying to have the perfect pitch. The end result would always be a product he would be proud of, and that was for sure. Although it usually took more than a few hours, perhaps almost sometimes even a couple weeks to even get a song done, or just even a demo. At least he didn't spend his time cooped up too long today, otherwise he wouldn't have had the opportunity to meet Haleigh.
“Well, just so you know, you’ll be the first to hear about it!” Ty smiled. "I can't wait." Ty said as he chuckled lightly. When Ty thought about it, would there be much people she could be telling this about? Other than her father, uncle, and her friends back home, he couldn't have really thought of anyone else. It was nice to know that he would probably be one of the only people here that would hear about her plans and all that, it sort of made him feel a bit special in a way. Then again, she was bound to make more friends, but at least they still shared a special connection, or at least that's what he thought.
“Of course you do - everybody continues to learn about things. Hell, I still haven’t learned everything there is to know about horses and caring for them. But when I die, I’d sure as hell like to have accomplished that or at least damn well close.” Ty nodded and smiled. What she said was very true. Everyone was to learn something new every single day, whether they would like to know it or not. "I have a feeling that I'll know a thing or two about horses after spending a short while with you." Ty said. He was looking forward to getting to know horses better. At least after tonight, he was going to head home and possibly google some information on it so he could probably impress her a little bit to say the least. Then again, he could've just did nothing and learn from her from step one. “Nothing.” Ty just looked at her smiled. "Oh, alright then."
“But at least your boss will be nice to you.” Ty chuckled lightly. "I have a feeling I'll get along pretty well with her." Ty had experience with having horrible bosses, but he also learned to take in wrath and complaints from them also. After working a couple years here and there, from being a cashier at a store, a bag boy, there were the ups and downs. Sometimes the bosses were okay, and other days, it seemed as if their whole world had been turned around. His current job being a short order cook isn't half bad. The boss is alright most of the times, but has his off days. In general though, there's not much to complain about. At least Ty's new boss would definitely be one of the best he'd ever had, and someone he wouldn't mind looking at every now and then.
“So you do believe in a heaven then?" Ty just smiled. Talking about religion with other people usually wasn't such a good idea. There were die hard religious folks out there, and Haleigh might've been one of them. There were times where people would defend their beliefs, sometimes resorting to unsorted anger and violence. Ty just took it easy and answered it without much sense. "Well, I believe in a lot of things actually. I guess you can say I believe in a heaven. I mean, I believe that when people pass away, their spirits are still here to protect and watch over you. I also believe in karma and all that. So, I guess you can say I believe in that." Ty said. Hopefully this answer wouldn't spark a religious argument of a blown out proportion. Haleigh didn't seem like the type to anyways, so Ty didn't really seem to worry about that too much.
It was now a slow song, and the beat of the music was moving considerably slower. They were swaying along with one another, the two enjoying each other's company. He looked over at her face as he held her tighter, and she looked up also, with a big smile. She immediately looked back down, while Ty did the same. The two's lips were almost touching. He blushed for a short bit, but continued to have a big smile on. Ty just wondered what they might do afterwards. Would he just help her get home? Perhaps they might even end up spending the night together just cuddling up, which was what Ty wanted at least. It's been a while since Ty had been serious with someone, but it wasn't a bad time to start. Then again, he didn't think he was ready to make that sort of commitment yet, but for now, he would just have to enjoy the moment for all it's worth. He might never have the opportunity to be so close to Haleigh, with their bodies touching, their warmth being shared. The two swaying along the night.
OOC: Yeah I feel kind of empty also. If I ever find any pictures of some sort that looks decent, I'll be sure to look for you.

She was a big star at Banana Joe’s Bar, Where she sang karaoke every night. [/blockquote]_________________________________ That’s true. Without any work, there wouldn’t be any sense of accomplishment. Haleigh nodded, she knew how he felt, but kept her mouth shut. She was busy thinking about what she should get and when she should buy it. Her mind racing too fast for her, she had to take a deep breath and focus on Ty’s face to calm herself down. She did all of this very secretively, and would be surprised if he asked her if she was okay. She really was, she was just getting too excited. That and being tipsy didn’t quite have a good effect on her. As she let her eyes focus on his face, she felt her heart race again. Why? She was probably having a heart attack or something like that. Brushing that odd event to the side, she let her mind wander to building a farm and managing it with Ty. She liked how that sounded. No, she loved how that sounded. She definitely would love to see Ty more, and what perfect excuse than to come and ride some horses with her?
I have a feeling that I’ll know a thing or two about horses after spending a short while with you. Hales beamed. “Of course you will. If you plan on riding the first few times you come out, you’ll learn more than you think.” She smiled again, watching him for a moment before lowering her eyes. She didn’t like to stare at people, even though she didn’t mind being looked at. She raised her eyes up to look back into his face again, words flowing from her tongue and stopping at her closed mouth. She wanted to say more to him, but she was unsure of what to say. And she had a feeling that it was mostly the alcohol speaking now. She didn’t want to embarrass herself more than she already might have. Oh, alright then. Haleigh smiled, even thought it was a little forced since she was in deep concentration. She shook herself mentally, coming back down to the present and blinking a few times. She smiled to him again and then glanced away at the dance floor.
I have a feeling I’ll get along pretty well with her. Haleigh smiled, and then rose an eyebrow. “And what would give you that impression? “ She giggled, she shouldn’t be talking right now - it just wasn’t good at all. Looking back over at Ty, she smiled again. She couldn’t look at him and not smile at the same time, there was just something about him that made her feel happy inside. She knew that they would be able to get along. Sure, there would be tough times when there was some stress involved, but she knew that they’d be able to get through it. Haleigh was determined to make this work. She looked around, letting her mind wander yet again to all of the possibilities. She knew that they would be a great team together, they seemed to be agreeing with one another often. Not to mention the fact that he was a real gentlemen to her, which she appreciated greatly.
Well, I believe in a lot of things actually. I guess you can say I believe in a heaven. I mean, I believe that when people pass away, their spirits are still here to protect and watch over you. I also believe in karma and all that. So, I guess you can say I believe in it. Haleigh nodded, mulling over the words just spoken by Ty. “That makes sense… I suppose you could say that I lost my faith after my mom passed away. Before that I had gone to church every Sunday with my family. Even if I was little, I still understood what the minister was preaching.” She looked over at him for a moment, but decided to just shut her trap. Looking away, towards the dance floor she heard some commotion from a far corner, some drunks fighting over spilt beer. Hales almost laughed out loud at the thought of that. Sometimes people just shouldn’t drink.
As Haleigh continued to move to the slow music, she sighed, her heart was content - that’s for sure. But her feet were starting to ache in the shoes that she was wearing. She looked up into his face only to see that he was blushing. She smiled, and then giggled. “I think that I need to take a break - my feet are starting to kill me.” She wished that she didn’t have to stop being held by him; but her feet were seriously starting to really become painful. She moved out of his grasp, her hand, walking towards the bar with him. She sat down and closed her eyes for a moment, reaching down and massaging the part of her foot that she could reach. Opening her eyes, she lifted her head up and then straightened her body to look into his face. “Sorry about that, I wish that we could have kept on dancing. That was real nice.” Her words were slurred a bit now, but her Texan accent was still clearly evident. She smiled widely over at him, her eyes shining with happiness. If only he knew just how happy he made her.
oh oh see: sounds like a good plan to me! XD

“Of course you will. If you plan on riding the first few times you come out, you’ll learn more than you think.” Ty nodded. "Hopefully that'll be the case, but I'm expecting a couple cases of falling and bruises that'll be included." Ty chuckled lightly. As they always say, no pain no gain. He noticed now that Haleigh often broke eye contact from him, which led to him wondering. Had there been something on his face? Did he look funny? Perhaps he just had one too many and became paranoid. Whatever the case may have been, Ty didn't mind looking at Haleigh. The two had quite a bit of drinks, and it showed alright.
“And what would give you that impression? “ He caught her giggling a bit. She must've been tipsy. Ty just smiled. "Well, first off, she's quite nice, and I hear she doesn't look half bad. She's also quite the hard worker." Ty said, part jokingly, while chuckling lightly. He couldn't get tired of constantly picturing the idea of the two of them working side by side. They would make a great duo, perhaps even partners in crime. It was something that Ty really couldn't wait for, and something that Ty looked forward to. Thinking about it in his head, he wondered who could get tired of working with a person like Haleigh. It just seemed like things would always be going great whenever he or anyone was with her.
“That makes sense… I suppose you could say that I lost my faith after my mom passed away. Before that I had gone to church every Sunday with my family. Even if I was little, I still understood what the minister was preaching.” Ty nodded. There wasn't much more for him to add. He took notice to what Haleigh had her attention glued to. It was two guys fighting over a beer. The two looked quite drunk, perhaps they might've had one too many. He saw Haleigh smile at them, perhaps almost even breaking out a laugh. "That happens quite often around here when a person drinks one too many." Ty said while chuckling.
They continued to move towards the music, but then Haleigh paused for a moment. “I think that I need to take a break - my feet are starting to kill me.” Ty looked down to her feet, she was wearing some black heels, and they were quite high. It was a shocker how she'd been able to dance for so long. He felt sort of disappointed that he had to let her go, but he knew that he couldn't of have held her all night, even if he wanted to. "Okay. Let's go take a seat then." Ty said cheerfully, hiding his disappointment. The two went over to take seat. “Sorry about that, I wish that we could have kept on dancing. That was real nice.” Ty just smiled and started rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry, I should've noticed and then we could've stopped earlier, so you wouldn't have to be aching right now." Although Haleigh was massaging her feet to relieve the aching pain, she seemed to still be able to smile, and a big one too. That relieved Ty a bit, and led him to smile also. "So, how are your feet? Will you be able to make it home tonight? Or will I have to personally carry you and be your butler for the evening?" Ty joked.
OOC: And the shortness will gradually continue. xD

She was a big star at Banana Joe’s Bar, Where she sang karaoke every night. [/blockquote]_________________________________ Hopefully that’ll be the case, but I’m expecting a couple cases of falling and bruises that’ll be included. Haleigh smiled, she had fallen a few times when she had been learning how to ride. But that was also due to the fact that her father didn’t know much about riding horses back then. She learned by a mixture of teaching herself and her dad giving some pointers here and there. Mostly, trial and error. But it would be different when she taught Ty, she would know what to do and what not to do - she would be able to explain things to him and stuff like that. So hopefully, he wouldn’t fall as much as he thought he would. “Surprisingly enough, people are more balanced on a horse than they think.” She smiled. “The trick is to just remain relaxed.” She laughed, “Even though it sounds rather simple, it seems to give beginner riders the hardest time with.” She smiled again, looking up into his face to see him looking down into hers. She wondered why she seemed so shy all of a sudden, maybe it was the intensity of his eyes when he looked into hers. Whatever the case, she didn’t mind the attention that he gave her - she just wasn’t used to it.
Well, first off, she’s quite nice, and I hear she doesn’t look half bad. She’s also quite the hard worker. Haleigh giggled, she liked how he was giving her compliments, but not quite directly. It made it easier for her to accept them. “Oh really?” She really was at a loss for words, she was going to continue on but her mind went blank. Looking around for a moment, she smiled back at him. “I heard that she’s a loner and that she doesn’t have anybody special in her life.” She giggled, if she had been sober there’s no way that would have flowed so naturally out of her mouth as it had. Hell, it probably would have remained locked behind her closed mouth. But she was in a flirty kind of mood, and what was wrong at hinting at some things? There was no problem with that, especially since there was such a flame between the two. She smiled once more, and looked into his eyes, keeping the eye contact a little longer than usual. She liked the colour of his eyes, but what she loved more than that was how he always seemed to be looking at her. She’d never had that much attention before, even though she’d day dreamed about it many times.
That happens quite often around here when a person drinks one too many. Haleigh nodded, it happened in all types of clubs and bars. Especially back home. “Oh I’ve seen worse. One time, back home, I saw a group of guys fighting over a napkin that had gotten thrown onto the ground. One guy wanted the other to pick it up, except the ‘accused’ guy said that he didn’t do it and so he wasn’t going to touch it…” She laughed again. “Basically it ended up with a bunch of slopping punches, that missed, and then the bouncers came and took them out.” She smiled, the memory fresh in her mind. “It’s funny to watch drunks try to hit one another, except you can’t laugh at them, or they’ll take offence and possibly come after you.” She hasn’t had that happen to her, but one of her friends had laughed and then a drunk had turned on her friend, which hadn’t ended up too well, for the drunk. Her friend had been sober, and therefore able to punch correctly.
Okay. Let’s go take a seat then. She knew that he was forcing the disappointment out of his voice, and wondered if she should just kick her shoes off. Then she figured that she could step on a piece of glass. Call her crazy, but she’d rather be here right now with Ty then in a hospital. She watched him smile and rub the back of his neck, wanting to hug him to make him feel better. It wasn’t his fault, that’s for sure. Sorry, I should’ve noticed and then we could’ve stopped earlier, so you wouldn’t have to be aching right now. So, how are your feet? Will you be able to make it home tonight? Or will I have to personally carry you and be your butler for the evening? Haleigh listened to his words, her eyes lighting up. That was exactly what she’d wanted, to see him later on. “Well I’m not sure that I can drive anyways, considering the state that I’m in…” She said, pausing for a moment. “But if you have nothing else planned, you could come back to my place… hell, I’ll let you drive my precious car too.” She giggled, she never let anybody else drive it - just because of all the stupid money she’s wasted on it. There was no way she’d be able to drive tonight, totally it would just make it even worse. “My feet just need to be soaked in some warm water, that’s all.” She said, letting him know that he didn’t really need to come with her. But she sure as hell hoped that he would.
oh oh see: it’s okay, it’s easier to reply when there’s only four paragraphs lol.

“Surprisingly enough, people are more balanced on a horse than they think. The trick is to just remain relaxed. Even though it sounds rather simple, it seems to give beginner riders the hardest time with.” Ty nodded and smiled. It sounded easy enough, but then again, how would he be able to relax when he's a newcomer on an animal that he would probably have no control over. Then again, you can't learn without having first falling a couple times, and realizing all the past mistakes that led to the fall in the first place. "I'm pretty good at relaxing, but maybe not as much when I first get on top of that horse. With a good teacher though, I know all my nerves will be calm." Ty smiled. He was looking forward to getting on that horse, and even falling a couple times. Experience was something that couldn't have been taught, but rather gained by one's own personal advancement.
“Oh really? I heard that she’s a loner and that she doesn’t have anybody special in her life.” Ty saw her giggle a bit. The alcohol must've had gotten into her system quite a bit, but he also chuckled lightly at what she had to say, indirectly of herself of course. "Really? Who said that? What I hear is that she's quite the personality. And, I know one person that would love to be that special someone in her life. He's a boring guy, but he's quite nice, and good looking I should say." Ty joked. He was playing along with what she had been doing, and it was quite fun. The alcohol only added to it, having putting the two in a flirty mood. Ty had a hard time not looking at Haleigh. His direct attention was always focused on her, although it did click in his mind at times that it would be awkward just looking at her all the time, so he did look away a couple times, but to only return his gaze at her. There were other girls at the club, but he didn't take notice in them. He'd had already zeroed in on Haleigh, and didn't really plan on taking his eyes off her.
“Oh I’ve seen worse. One time, back home, I saw a group of guys fighting over a napkin that had gotten thrown onto the ground. One guy wanted the other to pick it up, except the ‘accused’ guy said that he didn’t do it and so he wasn’t going to touch it… Basically it ended up with a bunch of slopping punches, that missed, and then the bouncers came and took them out. It’s funny to watch drunks try to hit one another, except you can’t laugh at them, or they’ll take offence and possibly come after you.” Ty nodded and chuckled lightly. He agreed with her, and could relate to what she had said and saw in her recent past. Guys fought at the bar all the time, it was the norm. When you drink a little too much, you just lose control of your actions. Sometimes it's funny, other times it's violent. "Sounds like quite the show. I recall many times having to see situations similar to that here. Drunk fighting is pretty darn entertaining I must say. It's pretty funny to watch, and dare I say it, if a drunken brawl breaks out here, you can laugh at it all you want. I'll be there to help you fend off those guys that come after you." Ty said sort of jokingly and seriously at the same time, while chuckling a bit. He flexed a bit and joked around a bit more. "Look at these bad boys." He laughed a bit. It tone, but a bit flabby. "Sorry, haven't been going to the gym lately." Ty continued, still chuckling a bit. The alcohol made him quite bold.
Haleigh continued massaging her aching feet. “Well I’m not sure that I can drive anyways, considering the state that I’m in… But if you have nothing else planned, you could come back to my place… hell, I’ll let you drive my precious car too. My feet just need to be soaked in some warm water, that’s all." Ty's eyes almost immediately lit up. Did she just invite him to possibly spend some time over at her place? Perhaps they could cuddle up throughout the night as he wished for when they were dancing a short while before. He had on probably one of the biggest smiles of the whole night. "If you trust me with your car, I'll be glad to give you a lift. I mean, I would personally drive you back myself, but I didn't bring my car here tonight." Ty paused, looking at his phone, acting as if he was looking if he had anything planned for later tonight. "Well, I guess I could stop by your place for a while. I can't wait to see how it looks." Ty said as he smiled. "And since you invited me to your place, I might throw in a foot rub when we get there, to help relieve the aching. I give a damn good foot rub, or at least that's what people tell me." Ty joked as he chuckled lightly.
OOC: A lot easier. xP

She was a big star at Banana Joe’s Bar, Where she sang karaoke every night. [/blockquote]_________________________________ Haleigh was busy thinking and picturing working on a ranch that she owned. She also pictured Ty with her, working alongside her. She definitely liked what she saw, how they would get along so well. Sure there would be ups and downs but that wasn’t unusual and Haleigh could be pretty patient with all of that up and down crap. Hell, she had for quite some time now. I’m pretty good at relaxing, but maybe not as much when I first get on top of that horse. With a good teacher though, I know all my nerves will be calm. Haleigh paid attention to every word that came out of Ty’s mouth. She smiled when he finished and then thought about the words that she could say back to him. “Well that’s good. Most people think that they can relax when they’re on top of a horse and don’t expect to fall off ever. But I can tell you right now that if you think you might fall off, chances are you will be more relaxed because you know that it could go either way and that you’ve accepted it.” She remembered one little boy she’d taught how to ride a horse. A few lessons in he had fallen off and Haleigh had already been anticipating it because he had taken his hands off of the saddle, which wasn’t something Hales advised unless she said you were ready to. You need to establish some balance upon the horse before trying to go without any hands.
Haleigh liked the fact that she could joke and flirt around with Ty and not offend him in anyway. She also liked how she could make him smile, because it sometimes was hard to make a guy smile or laugh for that matter. Really? Who said that? What I hear is that she’s quite the personality. And, I know one person that would love to be that special someone in her life. He’s a boring guy, but he’s quite nice, and good looking I should say. Haleigh smiled, blushing at his comment about where he’d say he would love to be that special someone in her life. But that comment confused her to. Did that mean that she should ask him to be her boyfriend, or if she should just wait? She decided to wait, besides, it wasn’t like she would never see him again. “Boring? Yeah right! I’ve heard that he’s quite the gentlemen and can make any lady enjoy their night out with him.” She leaned closer, smiling. “I also heard that he’s a very talented singer too.” She leaned back, not really wanting too. She liked the smell of him, of his… possibly cologne? She wasn’t sure, sometimes deodorant and cologne smelled almost the same. Whatever it was he was wearing Haleigh really, really liked.
Haleigh listened to his chuckle and beamed. She loved how she could just ramble on and somehow he would find it amusing and actually chuckle! She had never made a guy laugh before, except for her father, although that didn’t quite count. Sounds like quite the show. I recall many times having to see situations similar to that here. Drunk fighting is pretty darn entertaining I must say. It’s pretty funny to watch, and dare I say it, if a drunken brawl breaks out here, you can laugh at it all you want. I’ll be there to help you fend off those guys that come after you. Haleigh smiled, she liked how he was protective over her, that was what she had been looking for forever. “That sounds like a good plan.” She said, giggling. Look at these bad boys. Sorry, haven’t been going to the gym lately. She watched him flex, and even though you could tell he hadn’t been to the gym, she liked what she saw - that’s for sure. “Well, we will have to go with one another then. Although I don’t weight lift.” She paused, flexing her arms. She had a bit more muscle than the average girl her age just from working on a farm. “But I do run on the treadmills every other day.” She giggled, she liked how he was joking with her more and more. Silently, thanking the alcohol in their systems.
Haleigh did trust him with her car, which was unusual. She had a hard time trusting her friends with her car, after knowing them forever. But Ty? There was just something about him that screamed responsible and trustworthy out to her. If you trust me with your car, I’ll be glad to give you a lift. I mean, I would personally drive you back myself, but I didn’t bring my car here tonight. Well, I guess I could stop by your place for a while. I can’t wait to see how it looks. And since you invited me to your place, I might throw in a foot rub when we get there, to help relieve the aching. I give a damn good foot rub, or at least that’s what people tell me. Haleigh’s eyes lit up, and she smiled widely. “Well now that’s a very good plan! A foot rub? That sounds heavenly right now.” She paused, smiling again. “I hope that there’s not too much clutter lying around… I didn’t exactly plan on bringing someone home tonight. But then again, I didn’t expect on meeting a really great guy either.” She smiled. She was totally telling the truth - if someone had told her that she was going to meet a guy as great as Ty that night she would have laughed her butt off at you. But being in the situation right now, it made her heart skip a beat. She could picture them cuddled up on the couch or her bed, sleeping. She smiled, her cheeks warming at the thought.
oh oh see: We should probably make a new thread soon... I need to get Haleigh a home lmfao!

Ty continued to picture his future session with Haleigh, just attempting to get on a horse, and getting taught the basics on how to ride it from her. He could see himself falling off the horse, getting a couple scratches and bruises along the way, but they would both always be smiling and laughing along the way. His mindframe always had it set to fun mode, but also seeing it as something tough to overcome. Nonetheless, he would be looking forward to it, and Haleigh probably felt the same way. “Well that’s good. Most people think that they can relax when they’re on top of a horse and don’t expect to fall off ever. But I can tell you right now that if you think you might fall off, chances are you will be more relaxed because you know that it could go either way and that you’ve accepted it.” Ty looked at her and smiled. "Sounds like I'll be very relaxed then. I'm planning to set a record for falling off a horse in one day, or maybe in ten minutes." Ty joked, as he chuckled lightly. He was expecting to fall off many times before he actually would get comfortable.
Ty liked how Haleigh always seemed to smile and laugh. Maybe he caught her on a good day, or she just seemed to enjoy his company a lot. Whatever the case may be, he liked this attitude of hers, and it really made him have a much enjoyable time being around her. He caught her blushing for a moment, after he had commented indirectly on how he would love to be that special someone in her life. Perhaps there had been just a bit too much alcohol in his system, he was being quite bold to be throwing out such statements. Was Haleigh girlfriend material? Were they already at a level where they could take it up another notch? Maybe so, but then again they had only just met. It felt like they knew each other since they were little toddlers though. Perhaps the timing wasn't right then, but Ty would ride with the flow as long as he could. “Boring? Yeah right! I’ve heard that he’s quite the gentlemen and can make any lady enjoy their night out with him. I also heard that he’s a very talented singer too.” Ty chuckled at her comments. "Is he really? What a coincidence, because I heard that she was also quite the singer also. They sound like they really have a lot in common." Ty blushed a bit as she leaned a bit closer, still joking around and all. He had on some light cologne, but hopefully it didn't smell to bad to her nose.
“That sounds like a good plan. Well, we will have to go with one another then. Although I don’t weight lift. But I do run on the treadmills every other day.” Ty smiled, as he saw her flex her arms. He gave them a quick and gentle squeeze, having been impressed on how toned it felt. "Sounds like a plan, but it looks like I'm going to be the one having to work out much more to match up to your level of fitness." Ty said as he smiled. She was quite fit, and it showed. Maybe it was from her jogging, or maybe if was from years of constant, grueling farmwork. Whatever it was, she was in very good shape.
“Well now that’s a very good plan! A foot rub? That sounds heavenly right now. I hope that there’s not too much clutter lying around… I didn’t exactly plan on bringing someone home tonight. But then again, I didn’t expect on meeting a really great guy either.” Ty smiled. Maybe he'll actually have to get her a good foot rub just as a sign of appreciation for giving Ty such a good time tonight. "A foot rub it is then, and don't worry about having a lot of clutter around. My home is like that sometimes also." Ty said, but blushed lightly as she stated on how she didn't expect to meet a great guy today. He actually couldn't wait to head over to her place, and he wondered where she'd live. Perhaps they were neighbors of some sort, but he was just looking forward to spending just a little bit more time than her than he originally expected. "So, can you walk? I can carry you over to your car if you need me to." Ty said as he smiled.
OOC: Haha. She'll have a home in time. I'm sure of it. xD
