Ashlynne walked into first & second. It was one of the common clubs - slash - bars around and it generally attracted the younger crowd. Sometimes she'd have a drink or two, but normally it stayed at that. She couldn't be running into the same problem her mother had. She made her way over to the bar and sat down. "Can I get a martini please? Shaken not stirred," she requested. As Ashlynne waited for her drink to be finished being made she looked around. There were a bunch of people on the dance floor, but she chose not to go out there alone. She looked to her left and there sat a couple of girls that were hardly old enough to drink and it was really obvious. Then she looked to her right and there sat a cute guy. Had to be at least twenty or so. She looked away quickly so he wouldn't see her looking at him, but she kept stealing small glances from the corner of her eye, praying he wouldn't see her.

Damian looked around his room and then decided on what he was going to do...TV. He turned on the tv and began flipping through the channels trying to find something good to watched. He continuously flipped trying to find something worth it but after looking for about 20 minutes he turned off the tv and laid back in his bed. He laid there staring at his ceiling. "I'm not gunna do this."He said to himself as he sat up and got up off of the bed. He slipped on a pair of old jeans he had, a couple rips and tears but he didn't really care for the time being. He put on a button down black and blue shirt and a white shirt underneath. HE then put on a pair of sneakers and quickly brushed through his hair. He grabbed his car keys and headed out the door. He turned on his car and sat in the driveway for a minute, what now? where was he goin to go. He pulled out of the driveway and drove down the street. He had a pretty good idea of where to go. He drove down to first and second. He parked his car and went inside. He smiled at the bartender and sat down. He order just a simple drink vodka on the rocks. He waited for his drink and then took a sip of it when he received it. He noticed a female body next ot him and looked over at her. He looked at up and down and saw she was pretty good looking. He turned a bit and smiled at her. "Hey I noticed your drinking a martini." He said tyring to make conversation

"If this is your idea of small talk, your social skills need some serious work," she teased with a small laugh. "Just kidding," she reassured him, flashing her signature smile. She looked him up and down. Not bad looking at all. In fact, he didn't seem to have a flaw about him. "Yeah, just a simple Martini. I'm Ashlynne," she said, introducing herself as she took a sip of her Martini. "So, are you from around here," she asked. She lived near by, but this club seemed to attract people from all over and from all age ranges. She crossed her legs, the right over the left, causing her denim mini to slide up a little, exposing a little more of her bronze tanned thigh. She readjusted her small pink top and lifted the strap that had fallen off of her shoulder back onto it and finished by running a hand through the underside of her hair. She did it all quickly. It wasn't like she was looking for attention, it was just something that she did out of habit. As she finished off her drink, she turned to the bartender to order another, but turned back to this mystery man quickly. "What are you drinking," she asked.

He looked at her and laughed. She was telling him that his social skills needed work. Hmm she had some spunk in her....not a bad thing to have. He liked a girl with spunk and personality. "What kind of martini...you know you can tell alot about a person by what they are drinking. That's what I asked."He said with a smirk. He could sort of already tell what she was drinking by the way she acted and stuff but he wanted to make sure that his assumption was correct. "I'm Damian by the way."HE said as the bartender walked over ot him and told him that the car Damian predicted won in the race. It was easy, Damian knew cars and he knew the drivers it was easy to say who was gunna win. "I told ya man."He said looking at him the bartender nodded and told him that he could have one free drink anytime he came in. A sweet deal Damian thought. Betting wasn't really his thing but if it got him free drinks then hey it was awesome. "I'm drinking a vodka on the rocks. What do you think that says about me?"HE asked

"Gin Martini. Plain and simple, but strong and can knock you on your butt," she quipped, raising her right eye brow slightly and flashing a small smirk across her lips. "You bet on cars," she asked, giggling a little. She thought as he told her what he was drinking. "Vodka on the rocks," she repeated, but her voice had the inflection as though she were asking him. "Well, I'd say that means you're pretty strong too, but you don't need someone else to help you out. Vodka doesn't have to be mixed with something to be good," she said, giving a small shrug. "I think it could mean that you're really obvious, but so mysterious at the same time. It could also mean that you're good in bed," she said, adding the last part nonchalantly and pairing it with a shrug that read "it's no big deal that I jsut said that to you and I hardly know you".

He looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "Hmm Gin you say...Gin martini. Well a martini means your soft, like you have a big heart and your very kind. then mixed with gin that means your a fighter. You don't take shit from nobody you stand up for yourself. Your a strong person who can handle themselves. Am I right?"He asked looking at her. He took a good guess and usually a drink told everyhting so he would have to wait and see if this drink matched this person. "I don't usually bet on cars I just helped him out." He listened to her as she analyed him and his drink. He laughed at her attempt it was funny the way she described him. "Well well well....hmm...your very right. You must do drink readings all the time and if you don't your a natural."He said with a smirk.

Ashlynne bent her arms at the elbows and turned her palms towards the ceiling. "Just some thing that I'm blessed with," she said as a small smile danced across her lips. "Ah, helping him out," she gave a small nod. "You're not far off yourself, ya know," she said, eying him. "How do I know that you're not just a stalker," she asked jokingly. "To be honest, I stopped taking people's shit a long time ago. Just something that my parents taught me how to do in their own dysfunctional way," she said, giving another shrug. She ordered another martini. "What about you," she asked. "What made you so strong?"

He took another sip of his drink and put it down on the bar then looked over at her. "Yup only a few people are blessed with something like this power."He said with a little bit of a laugh. He wasn't good at drink reading either but he did it to compliment people and it usually worked itself into a conversation. "Your just going to have to trust me and know I'm not a stalker..just a regular psycho" he said laughing. He liked her she seemed nice and had a sense of humor which is a amazing thing to have. "WEll that's good. I mean you need to stand up for yourself and take charge don't let anybody boss you around."He said nodding his head. He sat there and thought for a second. "What makes me strong is my brain. I know when to do things and when not too...what looks like a bad idea probably is...bottom line i have common sense."

Ashlynne thought for a second or two, pursing her lips and pushing them to one side. "I guess I will just have to take your word for it," she said with a small laugh. "Common sense usually helps. But I mean, you have to be book smart too. Common sense won't get you every where. Just most places," she smiled. She couldn't help but smile. He was cute and definitely nice. "So, what exactly brought you here. I mean, I know it's a great club and all, but don't you have more interesting things to do? Friends, a girl friend," she asked. She added the last part about the girl friend, not so subtly, for herself.
