[glow=red,2,300] For Every Tear You Cry, There’s A Reason Why, It Will Make You Wise, Someday[/glow]
Addison sat on the barstool at Starbucks. It is quiet tonight, but in the small coffee shop, it’s not like there was ever too much excitement. All of the excitement normally took place at the clubs and so it was easy to miss the fact that she was drinking coffee and disobeying her doctors direct orders…. Ok so she knew it wasn’t good for the baby, but sometimes everyone needed a little pick me up in their lives, and it’s not like she was drinking beer or tequila or anything similar, just some simple iced coffee, seriously what’s the harm in that? The last few days had been hard on Addison, the modeling agency had found out she was pregnant, and because she had been late every day for the last few weeks battling morning sickness, they had sent her to the medic who stayed at the shoots incase anyone gets hurt, and her secret had been reveled, despite her desperate attempts to hide it, and she was fired from the only job she had ever known.
Addison knew that jobs were extremely hard to come by in the small town of Aden Falls, even as a model she had to go to the next town over to find work at the department stores, local magazines, and sexy underwear stores. How was she going to pay her bills when all she had to offer was her body (ok so maybe she wasn’t a hooker, but still its similar right?) Addison sighed and flipped the page of the paper she was reading and crossed something off in red ink. She hears the gentle chiming of the bell that hangs over the door when someone enters the coffee shop. She smiled when she noticed, or though she noticed a blonde who had come in.

Hillbilly deluxe, slick pick up trucks. Big timin' in a small town. Stirrin' it up right about sundown. [/color][/b] [/blockquote]_________________________________[/center] Haleigh tossed and turned in her bed. She had been thinking about Ty way too much. Seriously, it was getting to the point where it was just unhealthy. Getting out of bed, after flinging the covers off of her warm body, she stood up her barefeet connecting with the nice cold hardwood floor. She walked into her bathroom and stripped off her sleeping clothes to step into the shower. She let the water warm up with it beating down on her, so her body temperature dropped right away. Once she was finished cleaning herself, she stepped out, and dried her body and hair off with a nearby towel. It was actually halfway through the day, but she had been trying to take a nap, since she didn’t really get much sleep last night or the previous night before. She had been up late talking to Ty online, and searching for potential horses to purchase. There had been a few good ones that she would go and look at later on in the week with Ty, but until then she had to stay home and try to search for a job at the same time. Maybe as a waitress? There hadn’t been any call backs after she’d handed out her resume, but she would wait. And hopefully get lucky.
Walking back into her room, towel wrapped around her hair on top of her head like a bumble bee’s nest, she rummaged around in her closet. What to wear… she bit her lip, concentrating. She glanced outside, it wasn’t supposed to be that hot out today… and it didn’t look like there were any looming dark clouds in the distance. She decided on a pair of jean cut offs, with a white halter top cami. She looked around, after dressing herself for her hair brush. She ran it through her wet hair, hanging her towel up in the bathroom. She walked towards her bed and sat down for a moment, trying to think of what to do with her hair. She decided that she’d blow dry it and straighten it - why not? She hadn’t done that for a while. Normally it was always in long curls, just because all she had to do to get the curls was throw some mousse into her hair when it was wet and it stayed curly all day long.
About forty-five minutes later Haleigh was unplugging her straightener and walking out of the bathroom, shutting off the light behind her. She glanced at her clock - 6:32pm. She didn’t know what to do now. But she was going to go outside, that’s for sure. Slipping her feet into a pair of flip flops she stood up from her bed and walked over to her purse. She made sure that her cell was in it, as well as some extra make up, wallet and car keys. Walking out of her bedroom, she flicked off the lights on her way out. Heading into her large kitchen she walked around the island and found a small packet of crackers. She put her purse down onto the island and ate them. Throwing out the empty container, she grabbed her purse and walked out of the front door, looking it behind her.
Getting into her black Cobalt SS, she shut the drivers door and right away started up the roaring engine, placing her purse on her passenger seat. Then she put it into reverse and buckled up, backing out of her long driveway. After checking both ways, she backed all the way out onto the road and headed towards Starbucks. A place where she came often, although she never ordered anything that had a lot of fat in them. Pulling into the parking lot she scanned for an empty spot, after finding one, she pulled into it and parked. Grabbing her purse, she unbuckled and cut the engine. She rolled up her windows a bit, just enough so someone couldn’t stick their whole hand through the window. Opening up her door, she stepped out, glad that she hadn’t put any jeans on. The black top was reflecting the sun, which made it even hotter.
Walking up towards the building she pulled open the door and was hit with a blast of cold air-conditioned air. She sighed, that was the problem with these stupid stores. They made you way to cold inside, even though you had to dress for warm weather. Hales’ eyes scanned the place, and they settled upon a new girl who was smiling at her. Haleigh returned the smile and then made her way into line, ordering a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese, and a small double double. She put the change into her purse, and turned to look for a seat. She walked over to the girl, she seemed lonely. “Hey. Is this seat taken?” She asked, shifting her weight from one leg to the other. As she waited for a response, she sipped at her coffee, her bagel in the other hand and her purse back on her shoulder like it had been when she had gotten out of her car in the parking lot.
oh oh see: i don't normally have long posts like this, but my first one is always the largest. unless the person i'm role playing with can match my length. so basically, no pressure. XD

[glow=red,2,300] For Every Tear You Cry, There’s A Reason Why, It Will Make You Wise, Someday[/glow]
Addison flipped through the paper once more, she lets her mind wander for a few seconds, wow how she wished she had been a bit more cautious in the way she dressed today. Her hair was fixed in a Sexy Updo with her bangs down in Spiral Curles around her face and she had on natural shades of make up on to add glamour. Her outfit was simple but fashionable, something she had worn for a photo shoot a few months back sexy but still flexable and comfortable.. Her Ya-Ya Gwyneth Cami felt great in the warm air outside, and it was just warm enough for to be able to wear Jeans and flip flops , without being too hot or too cold, it was going to be a great day, even if all she was doing is skimming through the pages and pages of want ads.

Addie smiled in a friendly way as she noticed that the girl she reconized had come over to her table. She had just taken a bite of her plain wheat bagel and a sip of her coffee, which is like her lifeline. ‘I wish they could just put the coffee into an IV and insert it directly into my veins. YAY for the caffeine high!’ she thought to herself, but didn’t speak the thought out loud.
“Sure you can sit here.” She says in her natural gentle tone.
"I'm Addison, but everyone call's me Addie." She says in a pleasent tone, ok so she wasn't Peppy and hyper, but she was pleasent.

Hillbilly deluxe, slick pick up trucks. Big timin' in a small town. Stirrin' it up right about sundown. [/color][/b] [/blockquote]_________________________________[/center] Sure you can sit down. Haleigh smiled, “Thanks.” She sat down, trying to get comfy in the hard, uncomfortable chairs. She put her purse on her lap. Sure, you really were supposed to put it on the floor but there was no way she was going to do that in a highly trafficked place like a coffee shop. She wouldn't put her purse down here ever, or in a bathroom. She just didn't know how girls could let their purses go on any kind of floor, and then put them on tables! Cringing at the thought of it, she took a bite of her plain white bagel.
I'm Addison, but everyone calls me Addie. Haleigh nodded, smiling politely again. “I'm Haleigh. Hales for short.” She paused, taking a small sip of her hot coffee - the one thing that she lived for. “Nice to meet you. I don't think that I've seen you around here before.” Haleigh smiled, shrugging. “But then again, I'm fairly new myself to Arden Falls.” She smiled once more and then brought her attention back to her bagel. She was rather hungry, which was odd. Normally she had a small tidbit for breakfast or something like that. Never anything as big as full bagel.
As she continued to munch on her bagel, not shoving it into her mouth all at once, she let her gaze wander. She finally looked out the window that was to her left. Watching people go about their days was entertaining to Haleigh, whether that sounded creepy or not. She would always people-watch back home with her friends in the local mall. It had been a blast, of course they had made fun of some of the passer bys, but usually the people were normal - just like them, which meant they couldn't say anything rude about them. And the kids always made sure that they were definitely out of ear shot, learning the hard way from one large guy hearing their comment and turning back around, fists clenched. The kids had peeled out of there so quickly, they were sure it was a racing record for them.

[glow=red,2,300] For Every Tear You Cry, There’s A Reason Why, It Will Make You Wise, Someday[/glow]
Addison was glad she had found a new friend, and what’s better is that this new friend was new to the town herself, which made Addison particularly happy because everybody else already had friends it seemed, either they went to high school together or they had lived near each other their entire lives and played together as kids, and Addison hadn’t quite found anywhere she fit in just yet.
"Nice to meet you too.” She said. “I’m new as well, but I think I’ve seen you around, you jog in the morning’s right?” She asked in a curious tone. Addison runs every morning, and evening, so she knew the typical runners. Or thought she did, especially the really yummy tall dark and handsome guy who she jogged beside this morning, just thinking of him made her wish she could see him again. He was probably around thirty or forty, with wavy dark hair, bright blue eyes, and strong muscles. YUM!
She had just happened to look up when she saw this woman dressed in the most ridiculous looking outfit she had ever seen in her entire life. She had on short shorts , with an equally short skirt over it, which would have been ok if it actually matched, but no on top of that she had on a checked shirt, and a bright pink scarf over her long black hair. Addison shook her head and looked away, trying not to draw too much attention to the fact that she had a very disapproving look on her face of what she just saw.
Seriously didn’t that woman know she didn’t match? People like that made Addison wonder sometimes. She looked once again to Haleigh wondering if she had seen the fashion offender as well.

Hillbilly deluxe, slick pick up trucks. Big timin' in a small town. Stirrin' it up right about sundown. [/color][/b] [/blockquote]_________________________________[/center] Haleigh had been busy with her bagel; but she lifted her head up when the girl across from her spoke. She chewed, with her mouth closed, and listened intently - like she always did. Nice to meet you. I’m new as well, but I think I’ve seen you around, you jog in the morning’s right? Haleigh finished off what was in her mouth, swallowing it down and then taking a sip of her coffee before responding. Yeah, that’s the best time of day… you get the coolness and freshness of a brand new day but you don’t get many bugs to bother you. She paused, thinking for a moment. You jog in the mornings? She had to admit; she hadn’t seen her before. Then again; Hales didn’t really pay attention to much other than her music when she was jogging. When she focused on the beat of the song she was listening to then it took away from how she was sweating or how her left knee was acting up again. Or how she had twisted her ankle and it was throbbing. Basically, the music allowed her to forget about the bad things in the present, but still allow her to enjoy the jog for what it was worth.
Haleigh looked down, returning to her bagel. She had glanced up as a bright pink scarf caught her eye. She looked over to see this women dressed in the most odd outfit ever. Haleigh’s eyes widened, she stifled a giggle. How could someone put that on in the morning and honestly think that they were a hot piece of meat? Hales watched the women as she crossed the street, trying to strut her stuff; but the shorts were riding up and the skirt was getting all twisted. Before Haleigh saw something that she didn’t want to see, she looked away. Glancing over at Addison, she could tell that the girl had seen the other women’s hideous apparel. I have got to say, I’ve never seen that women before! And I will be very happy if I don’t have to ever again. Hales said, rolling her eyes. Sometimes she just wanted people to go walk somewhere else. Why wear that in the first place? And then not notice that you were exposing parts of your body that the general public didn’t need or want to see? Haleigh had seen some weird outfits in her days; but nothing that went over the deep end like that older lady’s’ had been.
Hales dipped her head down to polish off her bagel. Once she finished chewing the last bite, she lifted her head to survey the streets and the room that they were sitting in. The silence between them didn’t really bother Haleigh; although she figured that it would bother Addison. Taking a sip of her coffee to clear her throat, Hales looked across the table. So, what made you come to Arden Falls? A question that she didn’t quite want to answer; but she figured that it was an easy one to ask someone whom she didn’t quite know. Leaning back into the uncomfortable seat; she let her eyes roam outside. Peering through the window she saw some dark clouds looming in the distance. Haleigh hadn’t seen any rain in the forecast for today. She watched the dark clouds as they rolled towards them, swollen with rain. Hales did enjoy watching the rain fall; maybe she’d get the change to now; with some company. Unless, of course, Addison had to get going. Haleigh wasn’t going to hold her up.
Ever since Haleigh had been a little girl she’d enjoyed watching the thunderstorms. She would press her tiny little hands and nose against the glass, until her father told her to not stand by windows. Her favourite part of the thunderstorm was the thunder. Sure, the lightning was really cool, but the thunder tended to last longer and sounded a lot cooler than the lightning - which made no noise. Haleigh took a sip of her coffee, coming back to the present when some little kid screamed ‘Mommy rain!’ right behind her. Haleigh almost spilled her coffee onto her lap. Putting the cup down she turned in her chair to see a little boy with bright orange hair and a chocolate smudge on his cheek, pointing out the window to the rolling clouds. Haleigh let her eyes fall upon the mom; a dark haired; tired looking lady. Haleigh smiled at the boy; he was so cute. He smiled back and then turned, jumping back onto his seat to finish the rest of his messy donut. Haleigh turned in her chair to face Addison. He’s so cute! She said quietly, mouthing the words over to Addison. Smiling, Hales looked out the window. She wanted to have a family one day. A great husband and a little boy. Or girl. Or both. She smiled again, little kids were so cute. When they weren’t kicking, biting, scratchy, yelling, crying and pooping. Basically when they were sleeping.

[glow=red,2,300] For Every Tear You Cry, There’s A Reason Why, It Will Make You Wise, Someday[/glow]
“I usually run every morning, I use to be a model as of a few days ago, and so I had to keep up appearances. “Addison said with a friendly smile as she looked over to the window and noticed the rain beginning to fall down in a soothing harsh way that it does. The silence didn’t really bother her that much, she was use to popularity sure, but she enjoyed just having someone to drink coffee with. And the occasional small talk was great when it happened, other than that she was usually lost in her own thoughts.
Addison couldn’t help but snicker as Haleigh made her comment about the woman in the offensive outfit. People like that seriously made her wonder sometimes, and as she watched the woman leave the building and strut across the street she couldn’t help but be glad to see her go, she wasn’t accustomed to being seen around people with such offensive mind frames to think they can seriously walk around looking like that ewe, it almost made her sick, or wait maybe that was the baby reacting to the coffee, ether way the nasty feeling left her as soon as it came, and she was soon busy watching the rain again.
Addison had been so caught up in her own thoughts that once again she jumped a little as Haleigh asked her what brought her to Arden Falls, and she couldn’t help but recoil back a little as the memory of the real reason she was here overcame her.
{MEMORY}
Addison is standing in the kitchen of a grand house, having what appears to be a confrontation with a man, whom she is close to, someone whom she uses to love.
“Jason you can’t just walk away from this ! You can’t just walk away from me, from your child!” She yells as the angry tears fall down her pretty pink cheeks. The man grabs her by the arms and shakes her hard. And then pushes her, she falls to the ground and he kicks her, once, twice, three times.
“I told you to use protection you stupid bitch!” The man yelled at her she cringed on the ground, rolling her into a little ball trying to protect her from his angry blows. He grabs her by the arms again and pulls her up so she is facing him, he pins her against the wall holding her there tightly.
“Jason pleases!” She begged as he slapped her across the face, when she spoke out.
“Don’t speak unless spoken to.” He said in a gruff tone as he begins shaking her again. Finally tired of his own game Jason threw her against the wall, she crashes against the wall and falls to the ground, as she lye there incautious he takes a knife and slits her wrists and her throat, and then walks out of the room, leaving her for dead.
{END MEMORY}
The scars from Addison’s past had long since healed, but the pain from the memory still made her weary. She wasn’t exactly sure what to say, but in the end she realized it didn’t matter, she wasn’t a very good liar, and so what else was she suppose to say but the truth? She is a bit hesitant, not really wanting to talk about it; she shifts in the hard plastic seat in an uncomfortable way, but decides to answer the question anyway.
“I’m pregnant, about four months along.” She says. “My ex left me, and I moved here to get a fresh start.” She said, it was true she had wanted a new start away from him. She moved her hand over her throat, in a sub cautious way, although she knew the scars were long gone. She still wondered if anyone could see them.
“So now I’m looking for a new job as well.” She said. “There’s really no such thing as a pregnant fashion model.” She said with a little laugh.
Addison looked to the cute little boy, who was now munching away on a chocolate doughnut and drinking apple juice. He smiled up at his mommy in a happy way, completely content at the way his life was going at the moment.
“Mommy! Mommy! NO!” He yells in a giggling tone as she takes a clean napkin to his face when he finished his doughnut and she tried to clean him up.
“Your right.” She said to Haliegh “He is adorable.” She said with a smile as she watches the little boy in fascination of his innocence. That was a thing she always loved about children. They are so innocent. They have such a positive aurora that surrounds them. She loves children so much, and can’t wait to have children of her own.

Hillbilly deluxe, slick pick up trucks. Big timin' in a small town. Stirrin' it up right about sundown. [/color][/b] [/blockquote]_________________________________[/center] Haleigh kept her eyes down or out the window when they weren’t talking; just because some people got a little jumpy when someone was looking at them too much. The thing was; Haleigh liked to have some eye contact when she was talking to a person - but then again, she didn’t want to think that she was in love with someone when all she wanted to do was make sure that their eyes hadn’t glazed over in boredom. Her thoughts were interrupted by Addison’s voice, but she didn’t mind. At least the conversation was still rolling. I usually run every morning, I used to be a model as of a few days ago, and so I had to keep up appearances. Hales wondered, curiously, as to why she had been fired from her modelling career. Or she might’ve quit. Whatever the case; Hales thought that the girl across from her would have made a good model. Yeah - I got into the habit of jogging back when I first started travel soccer… around thirteen or so. Now it’s just out of habit that I go out at six-thirty every morning. Lets me burn off some of my cooped up energy, you know? She said, with a smile. Glancing out the window for a moment; she lifted her cup to her lips and took a sip of the warm liquid. Oh how she loved her coffee.
Haleigh was watching Addison this time as she recoiled away from the simple, everyday asked question. Hales rose an eyebrow; there was something about Addison that she wasn’t willing to offer up just yet. Not that that bothered Haleigh; she just wondered if this was how Addison acted whenever that question was asked. Haleigh turned her head away; maybe she had been watching the other’s actions for too long. She watched the rain as it started up slowly and then started to really pummel downwards. She couldn’t believe how quickly the rain could change like that. It was really something pretty amazing. She let her mind wander as she put her head on one of her hands, looking out at the rain. She remembers doing this so often as a child; and then she would always sneak outside when her father wasn’t looking ( on purpose ) and run around in the rain, getting soaked to the bone, but having a blast. She’d splash her way up and down the driveway in the puddles. Then her dad would pretend to be worried about her and would call her inside after a few minutes later. It was a game they had always played… until Haleigh got older and didn’t want to play it anymore. Instead she’d go outside and sit in the field and cry with the rain; mourning her mother only when it rained. Sadness washed over her; but Addison was shifting around uncomfortably and it looked like she was going to speak soon; so Hales pushed that horrid feeling to the back of her mind. Another day.
I’m pregnant, about four months along. My ex left me, and I moved here to get a fresh start. Haleigh was shocked at what had come out of her mouth. She couldn’t believe it. She quickly recovered her facial expression; in a matter of seconds it had appeared and then gone in a flash. Wow, well congratulations on the baby - that’s really exciting. She said; her face lighting up for a moment or two. That is so dreadful; I am so sorry about your ex leaving you. But you know what, there are always other men out there that will be more than willing to help you along. To stand by your side. Don’t let him get you down. That’s in the past. You’ve moved away from that and therefore need to let it slowly slip away. Haleigh spoke from experience, although she’d never been able to do what people had said: get closure. Hales didn’t even go to the funeral; but then again most of her family had stopped by her home and they tried to comfort her. She just didn’t want to go and watch everyone break down for her mother’s passing. She looked away for a moment; but not before catching Addison putting a hand to her throat. She didn’t know what was wrong; but she didn’t ask. If it was something like her choking; she’d make some noise. Or lift her other hand for the chocking signal.
Hales moved her head back to look at Addison as she spoke again. So now I’m looking for a new job as well. There’s really no such thing as a pregnant fashion model. Haleigh chuckled, Unless there’s some hot new maternity line coming out, no I don’t see any fashion models who have a large bulge… anywhere. Haleigh didn’t quite keep up with the fashion industry; sure she went shopping more than once a year, but that didn’t mean that she cared about fashion. She didn’t. She was a country girl; and when you lived on a farm; it didn’t matter what you looked like ( unless you were planning on going out ). Haleigh turned and looked at Addison as she spoke about the little boy behind her. Your right. He is adorable. Haleigh nodded; smiling. She would love to have a kid one day; but first she wanted to settle down with someone. She smiled, she knew who that someone would be one day. All they needed was a little more time on their hands. That’s all. But since time was the enemy, Hales grew impatient - although she tried to be patient. Tried for him.
