 Frith created all of them. The Lapine, the Lupine, the Feline, the Vulpine. He created the rabbit with all of his enemies. He gave El-ahrairah long legs and keen hearing though to elude these dangers. Frith didn't give the Lapine anything to prepare them for the danger coming though.
In a land full of smart and swift rabbits danger is always expected. One danger comes now though that is thoroughly unexpected. Four young rabbits have seen hints of this danger though. They are all descendants of rabbits from the Sandleford warren, the brave group of rabbits who discovered Watership Down; the Efrafa warren, the rabbits who tried to exterminate Sandleford; and rabbits of other heritage. One rabbit is a descendant of Fiver and Hazel, another a descendant of Bigwig, another is a descendant of Cowslip, and the last a descendant of the cruel rabbit General Woundwort. All of these rabbits belong to different warrens and alliances but have received the same disturbing visions and dreams. They are all seers but they aren't believed in their warrens, their visions being only thought of as nightmares.
Frith has warned some
lots must be done.
Here comes great zorn,
you must forget all scorn.
Alliances must bind,
clear your mind.
Join or die,
four must try.
Four young rabbits must meet each other, a seemingly impossible task as all alliances are in bad terms with each other, and the four must find a way to save all Lapine. A great danger, one that is even unstoppable to the great Frith, is coming and only four rabbits can help their friends and family. It will be a hard task. There will be death, battles, broken friendships, and false loyalties.
