Aiko sighed and brushed a strand of her dark hair from her face as she briskly walked down the sidewalk. After grabbing her jacket and money, and not forgetting her cell phone, she had escaped from her "captivity" under her mother's evil grasp, and she now...had no idea where she was going. All she knew is that she didn't want to return to her home for another 12 hours or so. Seeing as her Ipod had decided to break, she had nothing to do at home, so she had one place in mind...one place where she could listen to as much music as she wanted, and not be only metres away from her drunken aggressive, argumentive bitch of a mother.
She turned the corner and almost skipped to Crazy Daisy, her white skirt dancing gracefully in the wind. She almost fell over though, as a shoelace on her black classic converse had a mind of its own, as it tripped Aiko up in her path. She landed on the floor, her bare knees grazed along the concrete, and tiny bits of rock stuck into her hands. She frowned and brushed it away, and sighed as she saw her red knees. That had dampened her mood, so for the rest of her walk to Crazy Daisy, she basically sulked.
Like a robot, she followed the path and walked straight into Crazy Daisy, walking directly to the large headphones that scattered around the place. Oh how Aiko loved the over large cool headphones! She smiled as she saw her "old friends" and picked one straight up and placed it on her head. She liked the softness of the ears against her skin, as she placed her hair behind her ears and searched for a song.
Her face lit up when she saw, down at the bottom of the playlist, her favourite song at the moment...The man who can't be moved by The Script. "Oh The script are fucking awesome!" She muttered under her breath and immediatly pressed the play button. She turned the volume up to full blast, and knew that she would get carried away with miming to the song...she just hoped that people would mind their own business and get on with their own lives...and she hoped that she would hear anyone who bothered to speak to her. Because she knew that if she didn't...she would look like an utter fool

The day was nice. Sun shining bright, a gentle breeze blowing through the air. Everything seemed to go well for Ty. Of course, he was constantly thinking of Haleigh. He wanted to see her, but only could resort to picturing her in his mind. He held out his phone, wanting to call her, but was worried that he might've been bothering her, and also that she might call also. All these things, it really made Ty over think everything. Maybe this was what someone could do to another person, but Ty didn't mind it at all. It kept everything all happy and go lucky for him. The thought of Haleigh just couldn't escape his mind.
Although the day was nice, Ty wouldn't enjoy it for all it's worth. He had planned to go to Arden Falls local music joint, Crazy Daisy. It was where all the latest music was released, ranging from every genre. Trance to opera, country to hip hop, from the oldies, to the current hits. Whatever you name, they'd probably have it. This was why it was a local hotspot for Ty to head over to. Perhaps to check out any new trends, find some new inspiration to work with in the studios. It was also a great place to just chill, and just slowly let the music drift you away. Whatever the case may have been, Ty was there for the music, and the music only. After all, this place was the only place Arden Falls had to offer for any sort of music whatsoever, not considering all the other local acts around the small town every so often.
Ty was dressed very casual, and it matched the warm weather also. A pair of good ol' jeans, and a graphic tee, along with his always trendy pair of sneakers, and this time, a pair of dark sunglasses. He took them off however, as he entered Crazy Daisy. There had been a huge selection of genres to choose from. He decided to head over to the country section, mainly because it reminded him of Haleigh. He slapped on a pair of headphones and started jamming out to various artists, some old, some new. It ranged from Tim McGraw, then to Toby Keith, shortly afterwards to Rascal Flatts. Through it all, it constantly reminded him of Haleigh, and it just wouldn't leave his mind. Man, did she have some power over him. She really did put a spell on him this time. After jamming out for a quick session, he walked around to another area, hoping to sample a couple more genres.
While traversing through different aisles, he couldn't help but notice some music, probably turned all the way up. Ty put his ear to the test, and slowly moved towards the source of the sound. Yes, it was, The Script. He noticed it was a teenage girl jamming out into it, basically not giving a damn whatever had been happening around her. Ty smiled. He found it quite amusing this girl had been getting quite into the music, something that Ty also had a pretty bad habit of sometimes, but nonetheless a habit that he is proud of. Not having hearing The Script for a while, and watching how much the girl had been enjoying their music, Ty picked up some headphones that were next to hers, and decided to give them a listen for the first time in a while. He understood why she had been so into the music moments later. They had sounded better than the last time Ty had heard them. Not actually realizing it, he also jammed to it, next to the girl who had also been doing so. The two looked pretty darn weird.

ooc:: I wanted a reply =] so you made my wish come true ha!
Aiko was completely lost in the words, the song, like she normally did everytime she listened to music. The song seemed to match her mood at the moment. She thought back to all her friends that she grew up with, sought refuge from her abusive drunk mother, under their warm and loving care. But now they had all moved on, and she was no longer in contact with them, only her memories of them were left. It was a shame though, because as a child she was very popular, and her friends were her life. But now, now she was moving on with her life, and growing older, she just didn't seem to fit in. It was funny, because she had lived in Arden Falls all her life, and she had always been her random mad self, so why didn't she fit in? She wouldn't change for anyone, and she defiantly didn't care if she was getting carried away in things like listening to The Script.
At first, Aiko mimed the song, no words, no sound escaped her lips...so hopefully no one noticed... But then she got carried away, her hands holding the headphones, her eyes closed and she started to sing. "I'm not moving....I'm not moving..." Although, of course she had only lost one love in her life, Danny, she couldn't really put herself in the song's shoes. But nevertheless, like always, the music put her under spell, and she just escaped into another world. She wondered if Danny would remember her, if she managed to track him down. She doubted it highly. He was cute when he was 10, so he would be amazingly handsome now he would be 17. She looked outside, finally opening her eyes, and smiled as the sun shone through the windows of Crazy Daisy, casting pretty colors around her. She glanced at all the people in the shop, browsing through the many different genres the shop held. They all wore casual clothes, jeans, sneakers and most of the guys wore their large retro sunglasses on their heads. She giggled to herself, she loved guys sunglasses. They were better than the over sized sunglasses that every girl seemed to have. Aiko would rather have retro than...look like a bug.
Realizing she had stopped...singing to the song and looking like a fool, she sighed and looked back at the play-list. There was a number of songs she hadn't heard of, such as country songs. It wasn't that she didn't like them though. There was the song We Cry from The Script, although, to be honest, Aiko didn't like that one. The song she was listening to was nearly finished, and Aiko felt that she couldn't be bothered listening to the songs on this play-list. But she would allow one more minute of random jamming. She loved how the music circled around her and made everything disappear. She wished it would make her mother dissapear...Aiko was free however, although she had no clothes so she had to go back, couldn't run away. But where would she go anyway? She had no family in Arden Falls...and no friends. Who wanted to be friends with her? Was she a freak? She closed her eyes and let out a frustrated sigh. She then grabbed the headphones and took them off her ears quickly, not caring that her hair was slightly messed up. She turned to her right and started to move, but came into contact with another person.
Wide eyed, she glanced up to him...boy was he tall, probably hitting the 6foot mark. Although, her heart was racing, because she thought that she was alone, she smiled. "Jesus, where the hell did you come from, you tryin' to kill me!?" She laughed an uneasy laugh, but the minute she saw his dark sunglasses on his head, she flashed him a pearly white, toothy grin. She stood up straight, straightening her white short skirt up and pulling a strap of her tank top that she felt creeping down her arm underneath her black jacket that had numerous random colorful badges on. Of course, being 5 feet smaller than the guy in front of her, she was dwarfed by his slender but obvious toned build. She then tried to hide her embarrassment, because she realized that if he was standing there, he would have witnessed her "jamming show" to the song. She rolled her eyes and sighed again, and ran her fingers through her long black hair, trying to neaten the mess up.

Ty continued to listen to The Script, having enjoyed it a bit more after not having heard them for quite some time. Music was always a source of salvation for him. No matter the genre, basically any type of music, it could really set him free. Although he originally started singing in a choir, only having the opportunity to listen to various church tunes, they also did experience in other songs. Some were RnB, modified to fit the chorus roots, and others were trendy pop songs. It helped expand the horizon, and expose the world of music to him. All of it served as the refuge for his violent teenage years, and ultimately the liberation from it all.
Shortly afterwards, Ty took a look over to the girl that had been jamming out to The Script, the one that had been next to him. It appeared as if she got even more into it, now her hands holding the headphones, and her lips started to move. Perhaps she was singing, so Ty, being curious as he was, took off his own, and listened if she had actually been singing along. To his amusement, she actually was, and she wasn't half bad. Ty had the tendency to get carried away and also singalong to tune he liked. He just continued to watch, for some reason, it reminded him of a duet that he promised to sing with Haleigh. Oh, how the thought of Haleigh just couldn't seem to escape his mind. As she started looking around, Ty slipped back on his headphones, but turned down the volume.
She stopped singing afterwards, and realized that she had actually been doing so. Ty thought she reminded him of himself, and also that she looked adorable just singing along to the music. It meant that this person really took a great liking to whatever she had been listening to, and in this case, The Script. Ty had been just going through the playlist now, seeing if anything had caught his taste. After going through the playlist twice, he didn't really see anything that wanted to hear. The girl seemed to have let out a sigh of frustration, something that Ty could even hear through the thick headphones. As she walked over, she accidentally made contact with Ty.
"Jesus, where the hell did you come from, you tryin' to kill me!?" The girl had said with an uneasy laugh. Ty took off his headphones and just had to look down at her. I mean, Ty was a bit too tall sometimes, and it felt embarrassing to sometimes having to look down at someone. It made him feel that he was actually insulting the other person. She stood up straight afterwards, after having took a quick examination of his body. The girl wore what seemed to be a short white skirt, a tank which was covered by a black jacket that had a couple colorful badges on them, and some classic chucks. She flashed a very nice pearly white smile, but soon looked a bit embarrassed, probably from realizing that he had been watching her jam out earlier. "I was here for a while. Don't worry, I'm a harmless guy." Ty said jokingly, as he returned a nice smile. "Oh, and I caught a glimpse of you really getting into your music. You should sing more often, you sound good." Ty said, still feeling a bit weird looking down at the girl.
OOC: Oh okay. That's good then. x)

Aiko had lived in Arden Falls all of her life, under her unfortunate care of her drunken mother, and throughout those years as a child she had run away to her friend's homes. But recently, she had nowhere to run away to...and for the first time, Aiko was talking to someone, who actually seemed to take interest and care in her and not judge her. She smiled sweetly up at him and brushed her long hair from her face, her blue eyes shining in the sun that shone clearly through the glass windows of Crazy Daisy.
She glanced at the tee that hugged his toned chest, and admired his great fashion sense. As mad as she was, Aiko's fashion sense was random too, but today she had placed on a plain white skirt, and just normal tee with her favorite jacket on, seeing as she was in a rush to get out of her mother's grip. She sighed and closed her eyes, why is it that her mother constantly plagued her mind? Why couldn't she have anyone good in her mind...but she didn't exactly have any one good in her life anymore. But she hoped that that fact would change...soon.
She relaxed more however, when she saw the stranger in front of her take off his large headphones. Was he actually going to speak to her? Not many people speak to Aiko, thinking that she herself either talks to much or is a complete waste of time. "I was here for a while. Don't worry, I'm a harmless guy." Aiko giggled slightly, to be honest she didn't care if he was a mass murderer, she was for once being talked to. She couldn't help staring at his nice smile, and it looked genuine, and Aiko was a detective when it came to knowing fake smiles from genuines. "Oh, and I caught a glimpse of you really getting into your music. You should sing more often, you sound good."
Aiko was slightly gob smacked, seeing as from the many comments he could have said about her singing randomly, he chose to compliment her. She had never been noticed for her singing, didn't really think she could sing in fact. If it was possible, her smile grew larger as she looked up at his slim face. Although, she was slightly uneasy, seeing as one, she didn't know how to return his compliment, and two, she had never been complimented about her singing, in fact her mother had said: "Aiko, you are fucking tone death, just shut the fuck up you have no talent!" It was more of a shout...but the words still mean the same no matter how they are said. She sighed again, another flipping memory of her, she cursed.
"Thanks...I erm, don't sing though...at least, I haven't sung in public before...not properly." She laughed another uneasy laugh. What was wrong with her? Normally she was outgoing and easy to talk to, quick at thinking things to say. She knew that the only conversation starter that she could say now,was in fact the first thing you say to any stranger that you are willing to be friends with.
"I'm Aiko. Hi." She laughed and even put her hand up close to her and waved slightly.

She had a sweet smile, but nothing was comparable to Haleigh's. She had long hair, which she brushed back, and gleaming blue eyes which were glistening from having the sun reflecting off of it. She dressed quite casual, which was usually how everyone dressed whenever they would enter a music store. As long as someone was comfortable with what they were wearing, then it was all good, at least that's how Ty thought about things. Then, the thought of Haleigh had gone through his mind yet again. He again wondered what she had been wearing today, and what she had been doing. The thought of her just couldn't escape him.
As Ty talked with her, she started to ease up a bit more. Which was always nice, since an awkward conversation would just lead to worse things. He noticed that she had been glancing up at his smile. Was there something in his teeth? Whatever it was, he just continued smiling, because she seemed to take some interest in it. She seemed to just be happy from having the opportunity to have a conversation with another person. Was that really the case? Ty didn't mind. Small and short conversations weren't something he minded too much. He enjoyed small talk, it helped him meet new people, make new friends.
As she continued to gaze over at his body, and then up to his face. Her smile grew larger, and just left Ty wondering. Shortly afterwards, she seemed to go off thinking about something. Perhaps something that wasn't all that well. Maybe a bad memory of some sorts. After all, she let out a sigh, one that didn't sound all that happy. "Thanks...I erm, don't sing though...at least, I haven't sung in public before...not properly." Ty smiled. She seemed to come off a bit shy, with another uneasy laugh. Was he coming off a bit too intimidating? After all, he had to look down at her, which he felt uncomfortable with. Having the slight feeling that he had been insulting her. "It's good for the mind and soul." Ty responded. Singing can actually help a person feel better, at least to Ty.
"I'm Aiko. Hi." She waved at him as she greeted him with her name. "Hey Aiko. I'm Ty. Nice to meet ya." Ty said in a jolly manner.

Although he was slightly towering over her, Aiko ignored the fact that he did look slightly intimidating. She had to refrain from looking at him up and down again, as she caught a glance of curiousness in his eyes. Great Aiko, freak the guy out, probably make him think he has something in his teeth, or something on his face. She thought to herself, and a soft chuckle escaped her lips.
She wasn't a fan of these type of conversations though...the first conversation's you have with people, breaking the ice. Because they ended too soon, and when they walked away, Aiko just felt sad, and wanted to carry on having a good laugh and a great time. But however, in order to have future good times, you must break the ice, introduce each other, and wait till the next time.
"It's good for the mind and soul." What he was saying made Aiko think that perhaps he was in the music industry, or that he knew what he was doing, better than Aiko's random little foolish jammings. She smiled and nodded, rolling her eyes as her fringe moved in front of her eyes. She blew it, and luckily it moved first time. "Yeah but when it comes to me singing, it isn't good for the listeners minds...triggers headaches." She giggled softly. "Do you sing?" As always she was curious, and she had to ask. Plus, it would be interesting knowing more, seeing as the guy in front of her gave off an interesting vibe.
"Hey Aiko. I'm Ty. Nice to meet ya." She laughed even more as his jolly manner. He seemed to be a light hearted, easy going guy, although sometimes Aiko saw something in his eyes, as if he was thinking about something, or someone...just like Aiko had had memories of Danny and her evil mother. She smiled empathetically up at him. She knew exactly what it was like to miss someone, if he was missing someone...She would have to wait till she got to know him better.
"Back at ya. So erm, you like the song that I...we jammed to?" She laughed, as she remembered that he was next to her, and had listened to the song with her.

The conversation so far was going quite well to say the least. It still was tipping over towards the awkward side, but it still could've been salvaged. Just a couple more comments to break the ice and everything would be fine. Ty had saw her chuckle to herself, perhaps because of the curiosity on his eyes, and how self conscious Ty had been feeling about himself. Whatever the case may be, if the ice wasn't to be broken today, perhaps it could be the next time they talked. After all, today he made an acquaintance, which wasn't all to bad at all. It was nice to get know more people around at Arden Falls. I mean, the town wasn't all that big, they would've at least run in to each other once more, and that's for sure.
"Yeah but when it comes to me singing, it isn't good for the listeners minds...triggers headaches." Aiko had said, while blowing away the fringe of hair that had settled along her forehead. "Do you sing?" She followed along with a question, which Ty didn't seem to have minded to answer. "You should be more optimistic you know? As long as it feels good to yourself, you shouldn't mind how other's think about you. I mean, I think you're singing is alright. Not as bad as you make it to be." Ty had said in an optimistic manner. He was the type to be optimistic and was the type to be preaching it in all it's glory. "Yeah, I sing every now and then. I find it a pleasure." Ty had said with a smile. Things seemed to run a bit more smoother. She seemed to be friendly, and generally nice.
As Ty introduced himself, she let out a warm laugh. She seemed to also smile a lot. A habit that Haleigh had also, which was what Ty had still been pondering about. Aiko also looked the part of having been thinking about other things too, sometimes getting a bit too deep into thought, just like Ty had been doing. "Back at ya. So erm, you like the song that I...we jammed to?" Ty smiled. They were indeed both jamming to the same artist, and the same song. "Yeah, they aren't half bad. Are you a big fan of them? I mean, I haven't listened to them in a while, but they sound a lot better after hearing them for the first time in a long while." She laughed once again. Wow, was she a happy person, or so it seemed. Ty just continued smiling. The ice was about to be broken.

Maybe if she stopped smiling all the time, the conversation wouldn't tip over onto the awkward bad side. But Aiko couldn't help it. Her smile wasn't fake, she was just really happy. And for once, she had put all her problems to the back of her head, and now she was beginning to show her true colors. For a small town, Aiko was surprisingly still a stranger to many people...but all that would soon change. Even if she didn't make friends with Ty straight away, she knew that she would defiantly meet him again, here or when she got her morning coffee, anywhere really.
"You should be more optimistic you know? As long as it feels good to yourself, you shouldn't mind how other's think about you. I mean, I think you're singing is alright. Not as bad as you make it to be." She admired his optimism, and kind words and slightly blushed at the compliment, the rosy color filling her smooth complexion on her cheeks. Aiko was an optimistic girl, always had been. She had to be, because she was let down so many times. She didn't take anything for granted because she knew that things were precious, and could come and go, quicker than you can shake a stick at. "Thanks...flaterer." She giggled, not a girly giggle, but a short little laugh which escaped her mouth in short bursts.
"Yeah, I sing every now and then. I find it a pleasure." She was right in thinking he knew what he was doing, so she felt even more likened to him, knowing that his compliments were genuine. And now she knew that this guy wasn't just a pretty face, he had talent, well, she hadn't heard him yet, but she would bet all her money on him and he would be good. He smiled again at her and she felt that the ice was starting to melt...seeing as she was more open now, not shocked, and she was starting to be herself.
She bounced up and down in her chunks, something that she always did randomly, and her badges rattled, hair bounced slightly. "Yeah, they aren't half bad. Are you a big fan of them? I mean, I haven't listened to them in a while, but they sound a lot better after hearing them for the first time in a long while." Aiko nodded. "I like them, started getting into them, and I just escape into that song. Used to have it on my iPod...but, erm, it kinda broke while I was too busy drinking coffee." She trailed off into laughter at the end. "That's why I'm here..." She half lied, that wasn't the only reason why she was here, she was here to escape her mother, and she wouldn't go back until the early hours...or maybe, if she found someplace, she would only go back there to get her stuff.
Aiko cursed herself, because her mind drifted from the reality of speaking to Ty, a happy place, to bad memories of her mother shouting and screaming at her, throwing things at her, hitting her. She glanced at her arm, hidden with the black sleeve of her jacket. But underneath, lay a red mark, where her mother had grabbed it and dragged her around the lounge and slapped her. That's when Aiko had had enough, and gathered things that she needed and left. She glanced back up at Ty, her eyes misted with unshed tears that she was fighting to not shed. She didn't want to cry in front of him, to show him that she was weak, and also, he didn't know why the hell she would be crying. She tried to smile, but only a faint one crept at her lips. But she couldn't just walk away from Ty like she had walked away from her mother, she wanted to make friends with him, get to know him and stuff. She bit the inside of he cheek and tried her hardest not to cry. She couldn't say anything, because she knew the minute she opened her mouth, her voice would be tearful and raspy, which would then trigger the storm of tears.

Her smile seem to grow. It looked very sincere, and she looked to be truly happy. Which was always a good thing of course. Ty didn't like to see other people feel down when he was around. It just really wasn't the thing he enjoyed seeing at all. "Thanks...flaterer." Ty smiled and chuckled lightly. "Hey, anytime." Ty joked. Her cheeks started to have a slight rosy complexion. Maybe she was blushing, but Ty didn't really think about it all too much. She let out a small laugh too. It was pretty cute and all to say the least. I mean, Ty had a really strong feeling that they would run into each other in the near future. How big was Arden Falls anyways? Besides, they had the common habit of coming here also.
She seem to ease off a little bit, losing all the tension that had been stored up earlier from the awkwardness that strolled across the air. It was good, Ty considered the ice to be broken as of now. Aiko had been bouncing up and down on her shoes shortly afterwards, again, it was cute. Maybe because she was so petite. "I like them, started getting into them, and I just escape into that song. Used to have it on my iPod...but, erm, it kinda broke while I was too busy drinking coffee." Ty chuckled. She must've been quite clumsy, just like Haleigh, and perhaps even himself. He had remembered Haleigh calling herself a klutz. Ah, the thought of her still lingering in his mind. It made him all happy and jolly on the inside. "That's why I'm here..." Ty nodded. "I see. That's cool. I have songs that really help me get through the day when I'm not having such a stellar one."
Slowly then afterwards, she gradually looked sadder. He could feel some sort of unhappiness around the air. She looked the part, and probably felt pretty sad. He could just tell by her body language. When she glanced back up at him, she had eyes that were lined with tears. Ty wondered what had been up. Did he accidentally make a girl cry? It was one of the things he hated the most. He would regret and think about it, and it would slowly eat at him. Ty reverted back to what he said, he didn't think of anything that was offensive at all. He just asked a question, because she looked like she was going to cry at the drop of a dime. "What's wrong? Are you alright?" Ty sounded concerned. He could feel that uneasiness she had cooped up inside. Perhaps he hit a soft spot. Oh, those darn soft spots.

She tried to smile when he joked, "Hey, anytime." It was such a guy-like response, flattering girls on first encounter. But as she looked at Ty she knew that he wasn't one of those guys who thinks they are God's gift to the world and should have every girl drooling at their feet. And also, he had good taste in music, and good taste in practically everything else, from clothes to places to hang out.
She wasn't trying to flirt with him, because one, he was way older than the guys she usually had her eyes on, but then again, in Arden Falls, she hadn't come across that many guys her age, or for the matter, anyone interested in her. She wasn't trying to act cute and girly, just wanted to act herself, the outgoing crazy girl that she was. Perhaps though, from the look of Ty's face, he thought that she was cute. Wishful thinking Aiko, but then again, it helped being small yet lively...added a cute side to the normal kick ass side. When she heard him chuckle, she wanted to smile, but then again, she was still being kept down with the awful memories of her mother hitting her and throwing her around that very moment. It seems like no matter how far away from her mother, Aiko couldn't get away from her awful grasp that she had on her. "I see. That's cool. I have songs that really help me get through the day when I'm not having such a stellar one." Aiko nodded, but kept silent. She knew that she was making the conversation awkward, and kicked herself inside for freezing the ice again. She looked down in shame, and rubbed her arm where it still stung from her mother's hits.
She wanted to wipe the tears away and act happy, but one: she knew that the air was still awkward, and two: that would be lying, and she wasn't a liar, what you saw was what you got...along with a few hidden surprises. She saw that in his eyes he was thinking he had done something. But he hadn't. How could she do this? Ruin a conversation, and make a possible future friend think that he had upset her. She just wanted to start the conversation all over again, and fight against the horrible flashbacks. "What's wrong? Are you alright?"
She could hear genuine concern in his voice, as she looked back up at his face. She sighed, the memories had gone now, so she could be back to her normal self hopefully. Could she tell him why she was acting strange? Was it too early in the relationship to tell him that her mother abuses her and hits her and....She shook her head at Ty and said softly, "You didn't do anything don't worry...it's just," She sighed, her head told her not to tell him anything, yet something inside of her felt like he needed to know, in order to understand her. her face remained neutral, not sad, yet not happy either. She bit her lip, another one of her habits, along with her over used eye rolling. "It's silly. Sorry I ruined everything." She wiped away the tears that lined her eyes, and just hoped that she didn't look a mess.

Ty continued to just study her facial expression. She tried to produce a smile, but it didn't really work out all to well. Aiko seemed to be sad, perhaps she was going through some horrible memories all of a sudden. She took a look up at Ty. I guess Ty was a flatterer, although he was always completely oblivious to him. It just came normal. Second nature in fact. He felt the need to always be that one person to cheer everyone else up. In this case, it would be to help Aiko smile.
Although what Ty did would be considered flirting, he didn't mean it like that at all. She was a little too young for him, but nonetheless, a wonderful suitor if Ty had been more around her age. Besides, all Ty had in his mind was Haleigh. Nothing could replace her at all. She was still roaming around in his mind. I mean, the two text messaged each other every so often, trying to see who can annoy each other the most. Then again, Ty could never get tired of reading her little messages, with it, also he couldn't get tired of sending her messages.
As Ty continued talking, she only nodded. The ice was still a bit there, but most of it had already melted away. Ty knew that Aiko had been going through something at the moment. It didn't really build too much on the awkwardness. She looked down in shame, and then started to rub her arm. It looked like a habit, but Ty didn't think too much of it. He didn't really know where she was coming from, and really wasn't the type to judge on it. All he could do now was just look at Aiko, possibly wait a little bit, and see if it gets better. He felt so helpless that all he could do was stare at her watery eyes. It really made him feel bad.
Then, Aiko spoke up once again. A wave of relief blew through his body. "You didn't do anything don't worry...it's just.." Aiko paused for a moment and sighed. Ty awaited for her response. "It's silly. Sorry I ruined everything." She had apologized for something that wasn't even her fault. Ty just felt bad for her. A lot must've been going on in her life right now, too much for Ty to even comprehend. At least she looked a little better, not looking sad, but also not looking happy. "Oh no, you didn't do anything wrong. No need to apologize at all." Ty said optimistically. She bit her lip, it was a habit of hers, with Ty now noticing it. He saw her wipe away the tears. "Okay Aiko. I want you to do something for me. Smile please. A wide one too." Ty said. Well, it was what he could do to cheer her up. He smiled widely also, showing all his pearly whites. "Like this." He almost said unintelligibly with his mouth stretched from smiling. As corny as it was. He hoped it would do a little to lighten up the current mood.

She still wanted to know more about Ty, wanted to know what he liked to do, what he didn't like to do, everything like that. She also was quite curious, as she looked at him while they had talked, there was a hint of distance in his eyes. Like he was remembering something just like she had. She hoped that what he was thinking of was a happier memory, and not one like hers.
She was happy to see relief in his eyes and body language when she had spoken, and she forgot about all her worries again. "Oh no, you didn't do anything wrong. No need to apologize at all." Again, he was optimistic, Aiko loved that in a personality, and she cheered up inside...although, there was a wall that was still blocking the emotion from showing outside, which she hated. She saw that his face had lost his smile, and it was her fault for being sad. She wanted him to be happy and smiling, not concerned. But it was nice to see him concerned, especially for her. It made her feel wanted. It had been a long time since she had felt that feeling.
"Okay Aiko. I want you to do something for me. Smile please. A wide one too." The minute he said that, and a wide smile flashed at her, Aiko couldn't help but laugh, along with smiling widely too. It was just an immediate reaction to his corny, yet really sweet action.
She was impressed by his appearance the minute she had seen him, but now that she could see his pearly white teeth, she was very impressed. "Like this." He said it whilst his mouth was grinning, so he sounded very amusing, and Aiko let out a loud laugh, and almost doubled over as she caught the giggles.
"You," Her immediate reaction was to poke him slightly, and she realized, after she touched his chest, that perhaps it was a bad thing to do. But it wasn't exactly intimate, it was only a soft poke. "are very funny. And cheered me up!" She exclaimed, and looked up at him, her eyes shining and a large grin on her face. ((Sorry...crappy post, my muse is as low as my caffeine level))

The mood seemed to have lightened up, if only gradually. Her frown would soon turn upside down. Always a good sign of course. Aiko looked like a friendly, nice, just a carefree person. She had all the requirements that Ty admired to be his friend. Then again, his standard wasn't ever too high. If you looked friendly, and was pretty much an honest, down to earth person, Ty would probably love to just befriend you.
As Ty smiled, and told her to do the same, Aiko couldn't help but laugh at his goofiness. It was what he wanted of course, and with that laugh, marked the start of a more happier session. She also had on a wide smile, one to try and match Ty's. The two looked weird, but it didn't matter at all. She was happy again, and was in a better mood from at first. Mission accomplished, and another good deed added to his list. Aiko wasn't half bad at all. A girl who could jam to music like that, she must've been something else. She'd make a good friend. Perhaps Ty would even grow on to be like a brother to her. After all, he'd always wanted a younger sibling.
She continued to laugh and giggle at Ty's goofiness. He was glad that she was able to find joy in all of this. Although random passer bys had been staring at them like they were crazy, the whole point of it was just to enjoy themselves, and have a good time. Aiko then let out a couple words, but this time in a more jolly manner.
"You.." She poked him on the chest. It tickled a bit. At least now he knew what the Pillsbury Doughboy had to deal with. Then again, the little white creature only had been poked in the tummy. Must've been more sensitive down there. "..are very funny. And cheered me up!" She had exclaimed in a more happier tone. Her eyes shined, and she had on a large grin. It was enough to make anyone happy. "Why thank you. I'm glad you're feeling better." Ty spoke again in an optimistic manner. Everything had started to lighten up a bit more now.
OOC: Haha. It's alright. I'm not doing much better myself.

Now that everything was settling down, Aiko was urging to befriend Ty and talk to him some more. As she giggled, another habit of hers, a natural thing, seeped out and exposed itself to Ty. Her button nose scrunched up, and, she had been told, by only a few people but still, that it was cute. But it was just a natural thing and she wasn't forcing it to happen, but for once she was grateful that it had. Ty had ticked all of the boxes on Aiko's possible friend candidate list, and at the moment, she was recruiting, so she would easily accept.
They looked like a pair of goofy weirdo's, standing in the middle of Crazy Daisy with wide grins painted on their faces, among normal people trying to listen to music, or browse the city of Cd's. But Aiko didn't care. This is who she was, and Ty had brought that out of her. Perhaps their bond was growing, even without having to speak. Maybe he was going to be like Aaron was to Aiko, someone to look up to, call when she was down- an older brother. Aiko had always wanted an older brother...and now she technically had two! She began to like this town now, as she now felt a sudden safe feeling.
She felt foreign eyes on her, eyes that weren't Ty's and she turned her head to look at the random strangers that frowned upon them and gave them funny looks. She hated it when strangers judged her and looked down at her. Just because she was young, doesn't mean she was a childish girl. And besides, immature is just used by people who don't know how to have fun. She stuck her tongue out at them, of course when they had turned their backs and returned her blue gaze back toward Ty, someone who didn't judge her.
She hoped that she didn't hurt Ty by poking him, and she knew that she shouldn't have done it. But judging by his athletic build, he probably only felt it a little under all that muscle. "Why thank you. I'm glad you're feeling better." She kept her smile fixed on her lips and again, she bounced up and down in her shoes. "So, you went through the trauma of listening to my taste of music. How 'bout you show me what you listen to." She offered, knowing that it was a good subject to base a larger conversation on, to get to know him. Plus they were in the right place for it.
