i know he wouldn't have been much help. jace isn't the strongest kid in the world. there's a reason he plays basketball and not football. yeah... i try to forget my brother's idoiticies. even though i know that he's only looking out for me. i didn't talk to him for a while after that. yeah, i don't think i'd ever seen him looking so mean. i was only glad it was directed at you and not me.

yes, but technically i'm a trent, so i'm included in this little "look out for the other" thing, considering i've always looked out for you... and mykayla... and even jared and hunter. i helped encourage him when it came to anna. lol. she's the key to his happiness, so i'd say i get major points there. your secrets are safe with me, my love. they'll never know what you don't want them to.

true. okay, we could hire jared... or we could hire micah. man... i can think of a lot of people we know who would be willing to murder for us... and if you mention jackson was the target you'd have several more... man... he's really not that well liked at all. and i happened to get landed with him as a stepfather. how lucky am i? at least i got out. poor briar... she had to live with him there for a couple of years.

well, you know i would have done the same exact thing had it been mykayla. he did it with good intentions, i knew that. i mean, he was still steaming from me nearly choking you, and then toss in the fact that i got you pregnant.. i completely understand. that's why i didn't fight back. for a little while. aw, thanks babe. but you know i was glad for it too. if anyone was mad about our situation then, you know i wanted it all directed at me and not you. which, it was easy for them all to be upset with me. you were just my innocent little victim.

what a walk down memory lane... you can really tell we're avoiding what we're supposed to be doing.

hunter and anna are doing really well. it's good to see them so happy together. mykayla's happy with her boyfriend, and i can't say that i don't like him. he's decent at least. now we just got to find a woman crazy enough to be with jared, and we'll all be paired off. though, that last one might take a while.. and you better not be telling my secrets, or else i might just have to torture you for it.

micah. hands down. i'd completely forgotten about him. don't you dare tell him that, but he's been out traveling for so long that sometimes he just kinda fades from the mind, you know? but yeah, he'd be the one to call. you know how he is and what he's done. and briar.. i haven't talked to her in a long time either. we really need to get everyone together so i can actually see that they're alive and still there.

i didn't figure that you minded much. i'm sure you would've complained by now if you did. so now you're saying that i'm the one that ruined you? nice. and we really were blessed with a sweet, good child, which is really the shocker. she's a lot like mykayla like that. all us trent boys were hellions, then came along the pretty little princess that never did anything wrong. we used to pick on her so bad.. but i'm glad that hayley's such an angel. i don't know if i could have handled a mini me to try and raise.

yeah. it was best all right. two in the morning and i go crashing into the floor because the dog is a bed hog..

yeah. you protective brothers and your tempers... i tell you. yes, i was the poor, sweet, innocent little girl who was seduced by big bad kade trent. if i recall, you were getting dirty looks from all of dean's friends for a good while. at least we don't have to deal with that here. yeah, we're definitely not doing what we're supposed to. But, then again, isn't that how it always is?

yeah, i'm glad. anna and hunter deserve a little happiness. and it's good mykayla finally got away from all those jerks. as for jared... i can only think of one girl that would ever want to date that boy. she finds his craziness appealing. at least she did, anyway. i haven't talked to her in a while. but, getting involved in jared's personal life isn't something that i really wan to do. that would just be weird...

yeah, i miss good ol' micah. and i know a little too much about what he is and has done. i talked to briar the other day, but i haven't seen her in so long... since the wedding, actually. wow... that's really a long time.

yes, my dear, you ruined me. you dragged my name through the dirt and mud. haha. just kidding, of course. oh god... a child like you... i remember those childhood days. we were all a little bad, as kids. thankfully hayley did turn into such a sweet little girl. any other kid probably would have taken advantage of us.
